    Fonte, Morgan, Lambert, Cork, ..all bargain buys. But it's more difficult to find those kind of buys now. These player were not ready for EPL football when we bought them, but they grew with the club. There are probably players in the lower leagues we could buy cheaply and which could with time develop into EPL quality players, but now we need player who can make an instant impact, and they, like Forster, Tadić, Pelle, Long, Wanyama and so on, cost money.

    I'm going to leave early, get a good parking spot and then have a wonder round the stadium and the activities with my lad for a bit. Soak it up and really make it a special day, no matter what the result.
