I wonder if it might be time to think about calling it a day (and I mean that from an affectionate position) or drop down to say League 2 and try to be instrumental in getting a new team up to League 1 and possibly Championship. That we he will have created another legend and be well rembered by another fanbase. This club to club stuff over the past 2 seasons is not enhancing his reputation as it should and he will never be able to replicate his success with us which was historic.
Holt always talked about finishing his career at Carlisle, I think he's got to be starting to think next season might be the time to make that move. If he leaves it much longer he might not be able to have the impact he'd like.
