    Well i wouldn't be too heartbroken if Danny and Gaston make an exit at some point too. Apart from that, yes i would also be happy red 'n' white bunny.

    A disturbing image at this time of the day, but get your drift. I'm trying to be strong about it. When he leaves I'll say things like: he is a highly intelligent and clever footballer; we should feel proud of the way he has developed and wish him well; we have had great value from him and watching him in his pomp was a privilege. I will then suck my thumb and go under the duvet! Just the thought of him stepping on to the St Mary's pitch in the colours of another club is enough for me to go into meltdown! It's like trying to have a civilised divorce.

    It's OK. I've got it back. Yes, Morgan, you go with my blessing.

    Whenever a player leaves I always reserve the right to be piddled off or not. It just depends on the situation. I can tap into the memory of the emotion at the mere mention of the player's name. Read these two contrasting examples:

    Jason Puncheon

    Adam Lallana

    Would have lumped Morgan in with the others if had left last season, but I am more philosophical now. He has been a good boy and should be waved off with regret. He will certainly get a better welcome than Lallana and Lovren get when he returns.
