What a disgrace! West Ham take a week off from training. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastle-relegation-battle-hopes-boosted-5738468 Another theory out of the window. Thanks for helping your holiday pal out Sam. Steve, the next time hippo head asks you to go bungee jumping tell him to stick it up his xxxx.
Basically West Ham are saying they're not bothered about this game. As Roy Orbison said, "It's ovvvvvvvvver!"
Might work in our favour, they will come in refreshed and not giving a ****, might turn on the style like they did at the beginning of the season
The Daily Mirror will print all sorts of positive stuff about Newcastle and spread loads of rubbish about us. They are 100% pro Geordie nation. They did exactly the same the last time we were in this situation. Expect a lot more of this in Saturdays edition.
John Carver, the best coach in the PL according to.... John Carver. Lost eight of their last 9 matches. Gobs it off one day, makes it up the next. That's the way he is... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-accused-defender-deliberate-sending-off.html Sam Allardyce, the most sophisticated manager in the PL according to ... Sam Allardyce. Won just two of their last 16 matches.
Give over. Take the chip off your shoulder ffs! West Ham can do what they want. We've created this problem, nobody else.
If true, having a few days off training won't affect them. As long as they've organised for set pieces, etc. it shouldn't make much difference.
Paul Scholes says that his instinct is that Hull City are going to survive at the expense of Newcastle United. That's good enough for me.
If this is true it's disgusting. But is it true? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...gglers-Steve-Bruce-Hull-City-won-t-happy.html West Ham players given week off ahead of Newcastle clash in boost for John Carver's relegation strugglers (but Steve Bruce and Hull City won't be happy!) The Hammers face Newcastle on the final day - a game that has huge consequences for both Newcastle and Hull - and Steve Bruce's side will be hoping West Ham can do them a big favour. Hull must beat Manchester United to ensure they have any chance of survival, but they will still rely on Newcastle dropping points against West Ham. please log in to view this image +7 Sam Allardyce gave his players the week off ahead of their final Premier League match of the season please log in to view this image +7 James Collins (left), Joey O'Brien (second right) and Kevin Nolan (right) were at the darts on Thursday night please log in to view this image How the bottom of the Premier League looks Allardyce's side have nothing to play for, bar the chance to infiltrate the top 10, and the 60-year-old asked his players to attend their first training session of the week on Friday lunchtime. Speaking at his press conference on Friday, Allardyce said of the situation: 'It will all be sorted on Monday. It will be sorted one way or another. I am not personally having a meeting. But my agent will be available to speak to the owners. 'At this moment in time, because the season has finished so late, I want to take the only opportunity I have, which is the half-term week, to go away with my grandchildren. I will shoot off to Spain and whatever will be will be.'
Think BFS is helping Brucey out here. Lets Brucey fire up ours and mebbe make Ncastle relax slightly. Fingers crossed.
BFS sure as hell won't want to lose at Newcastle. He'll also want a win so his agent goes into meet with the hierarchy on the back of a win rather than a defeat!!!
So are the Sunderland fans hoping Newcastle are relegated or do they want them in the PL so they have their rivalry games next season?
Both. I suspect deep down most would prefer them relegated because its funny of course, but they are an easy 6 points it seems for them, and lets face it, they badly need those points every season.
