The more I think about it the more I want the mags down! Brucie will probably get the heave-ho anyway!
You don't post enough but, when you do, you usually nail it. (OOPS I love the derbies but I'm tired of them being the focal point of our season. The Mags have a very long way to come back from this and another relegation would really knock them back. They may think it's all Ashley's fault but it's not long since they couldn't get out of the second division and had gates around 15,000.
So this is what constitutes a sexual aid on Humberside when the Tigers are getting ready for bed ........ please log in to view this image http://www.tigerleisure.com/5_Gifts-Souvenirs/69_Novelty/1129_Steve-Bruce-Mask.html
Similar to 2009 the situation, only that Hull were above the mags and we were 16th and we all lost !.
Now you showing signs of your age, for years I have groaned at SAFC supporters who trot out "I don't care what happens as long as we beat the Mags". I would willingly lose to them every season if we were in the top four, or anywhere near.
this is actually pretty creepy. can we order loads and wear them at chelsea on sunday. alongside a john carver version?
Cheers marra. I read the forums all the time but I've been been busy with uni work so struggling to get the time to post, finishing next week though so hoping to contribute a lot more in the future. A lot of Mags seem to be labouring under the delusion that Ashley would instantly sell up and that they'd get promoted again instantly. The Championship is a bloody tough league at the minute and the only way I could see Ashley leaving altogether would be if he bought Rangers, so they may be disappointed on that front. The last time they went down they still had the nucleus of a good squad, and a strong spine of proven, experienced players. This time around they have a combination of unproven kids and foreign imports who don't seem to have the bottle for the English game. There's a lot at stake for them on Sunday, make no mistake.
This is bound to wind the Tigers up ........ "Hull fans counting on the Hammers to do them a favour on Sunday will be shocked to learn their first training session all week will be on Friday lunchtime." http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastle-relegation-battle-hopes-boosted-5738468 "Sunday’s massive fixtures will decide whether it's Newcastle or Hull - who are at home to Manchester United - who join Burnley and QPR in going down to the Championship. Allardyce is set to part company with West Ham after Sunday’s game and Mirror Sport understands he could go within a few hours of the final whistle."
It'd be a turnout for the books to see Sam Allardyce strolling the touchline at St James' Park next season, I wouldn't put that underhand tactic past their owner, safeguarding a certain 3 points on Sunday in the process. It'd be like when Abramovic fetched back Mourinho, only **** and embarrassing. Carver's obviously destined for much greater things after the season is over, what with him being the league's best coach. I heard a rumour he's off to Argentina to assure Messi gets his hands on that all illusive World Cup next time round.
This is immense. Hool our bogey team this season: can they bogey the bar-codes?????? I'd be happy for the skunks to stay up. Someone's gonna lose (or draw, or win?). Be watchting the 2 games, mind.......ours at Chelski. It ain't what you deserve.....it's what you do, methinks. We're safe.....cheers !!
It's great that we stayed up from our own direct efforts rather than, on Sunday, by Hull or Newcastle failing. As someone said earlier this could be one of the greatest viewing days in history. I doubt I'd go to Chelsea if I was given a ticket, just don't want to miss out and hope it goes down to the last few minutes.
Can't wait for Sunday. Pub's got 2 tv's with both relegation games on. Might support Dull on Sunday Will still be leaving the pub with a bloody big grin
