Assuming I became instantly insanely rich, of course I'd do my best for Leeds. The FFP rules would make it difficult, so as a diversion, and to make our fans happy, I'd buy scum too. And them watch my investment plummet with a big smile on my face. No more signings or renewals, playing in Manc blue strips with Gay Lib splattered all over the jerseys, and Hockadoodledo appointed as manager. Bliss ....
Hold that thought chaps! Latest odds on promotion pace us higher than Leeds - the poor fools don't know anything about football do they?!!!: All odds are to 1 Derby 11 Brentford 12 Burnley 12 Bristol City 16 Ipswich 16 QPR 16 Wolves 16 Forest 18 Wednesday 18 Blackburn 20 Brighton 20 Cardiff 20 Fulham 20 Leeds 20 Huddersfield 25 Reading 25 Birmingham 28 Bolton 28 MK Dons 28 Charlton 50 Rotherham 80 Still happy with our chairman
Football ain't played in the bookies. Do your talking after the season not before. You won't find anyone here expecting us to be in anything other than a relegation scrap. Anything more is a bonus.
Your words not mine - I just said I was happy with our owner Actually my family on my mothers side came from Leeds but I have never been. Your fixture is definitely in my diary! They owned the Cumberland Hotel. It no longer exists but we still have some of the crockery and cutlery. No idea where it was either - can't find it on the net .....
NOOOOOO! Those 6-fingered inbreds from north of the river are celebrating getting into the bottom of the league like they won the Champions League!
This from a carrot crunching southwest yokel with a high forehead and a combine harvester? Welcome to the Leeds board btw. We need someone to banter with next season seen as those pesky wallies will be disappearing very soon now so tell your mates. .
Do you keep your diary in your handbag? No, in my head! Welcome to the Leeds board btw. We need someone to banter with next season seen as those pesky wallies will be disappearing very soon now so tell your mates. Cheers -will do. I am sure when the season gets going they will pay you a visit when the Cardiff board gets too heated -especially when our fixture gets close - we are overdue a victory over you lot and we need revenge after the embarrassing thumping you dealt us at Ashton Gate a few seasons ago ! (Who are the 'Wallies'? Wigan?)
Normally a side that wins League 1 comfortably does well in the first season in the Championship, so if Bristol City carry the momentum into next season they will be challenging around the play-off spots which explains the 16/1 odds.
if they 're the promotion odds I'm putting a £100 on each team. With 3 to be promoted its guaranteed profit. Sure it's not the odds to be champions?
They are the title odds, i would say there are around 6 to 7 possible title winners so a profit to be had if i'm brave enough.
