There's been a lot said about Hull on here and, tbh, some of your lot haven't done you any favours.

Nor has Bruce with his sniping at Sunderland to which, I have to admit, we always bite.

Add in the ludicrous cheating from Elmo, etc and, to be honest, Hull have won few friends.

But we have to remember there are thousands of decent people amongst you and Sunday will be 'the longest day' for you.

So thanks for the kind message and good luck on Sunday although I can't be a hypocrite and say I'd be upset if Bruce and some others ......

The one thing that really will hurt Hull is that they cannot sit back and defend, they have to go for the win, the more men they commit forward, the easier it will be for Mata and Herrera to open them up at will.

Bruce's best tactic is counter attack, if they can snatch a goal and sit on it, that'll be ideal for them, shut the door on United's attack. If we score early and first, expect this to be a very heavy defeat for Hull.

Newcastle could win and make this all academic mind, that could happen, and John McCririck could win world's most eligible bachelor.

 

It's all about keeping your nerve, at this stage of the game, and neither of the Chuckle Brothers have displayed much.

Advocaat was so cool, on the surface, and it rubbed off on the players.

An early goal against Hull or Newcastle will set everyone totally on edge and that's when mistakes are made. Carver reckons the atmosphere, at SJP, will be electric ........ it won't unless they score, it'll be deathly as everyone will be choked up.
