Dom Funny thing is when they showed Earnie's first training session on tele last week, there was a back view of a tall, coffee coloured guy with a very dodgy "squirrel" type hair cut like Both regularly sported. Might he be training with City to keep his eye in until an offer arrives, was it someone else or just a figment of my imagination? Or is all not lost hence the non-signing of a suitable target man? The only potential downside being the relationship between him and Gerrard from last summer which saw Gezza packed off elsewhere. Could be a pity if that was an issue as I have just nominated Gezza as a potential new captain on another thread.
I read he is going to QPR. But his agent is spreading rumours about other Prem clubs. QPR fans seem to be looking forward to him, but then, they have nothing else to look forward to.
Probably one of the few Cardiff players from last season that we would touch. At least Chopra's buggered off.
That interview and clips of training is in full on CCFC player and it's definately not Bothroyd (he didn't fall over once). Not sure who it is (whether I should is a different matter) but I remember Proph saying in a different thread they were taking some trialists with them.
Perhaps it was Nathaniel Jarvis? Bothroyd on his way to QPR by all accounts. Good riddance! Good player but he wasn't reliable. Believed in his own hype.
this guy's stood eye to eye with the beast (not literally) approx 6' 4"...Jarvis is 6'..........I hope someone can put me out of my misery soon...it's starting to bug me now
Jay abused on twitter. Can't believe I got called a racist name by @delmatron5000 ....? Twitter need to do something about abuse. Post taken down now
There is no place for that sort of thing whatever the circumstances. It doesn't really matter what anybody thinks about Jay - he was a key player for us whilst at the club and more than repaid the £300-£400k he cost us. I'd have been happy to have him back with us for the coming season (despite his questionable work ethic and lack of 'balance') but knew he'd be of the Prem; wish it wasn't with QPR though!!
@delmatron5000 - What a tw@t!!! As for Jay and QPR, well suited I reckon, as he'll be able to mount Snowdon without having to drive the M4 first, hang out with any of his mates from when he was young, get all the support from the rocking atmosphere at Loftus and might even get more decisions from prem refs when he falls over.....awesome!
Besides, she was probably nowhere near him at the time and he just fell over looking for another decision!!!
