GRAN MAESTRO Chepstow 3:10 absolute wheelbarrow job. Just tried to have £200 on with Betfair Sportsbook and they offered me £1.25, do you think they are hurting?
Completely agree with Stick!!!! Fill ur boots but you may need to fish around for odds 310 Grand Maestro 440- Italian Tom 510- Tijori NAP 545- Lac Sacre
Nottingham 2:30 Robin Park 10/1 E/W. This one has form tied up with a 1000 Guineas runner (Terror) and from the same race, one I tipped up today which won (Quite Smart). Robin Park finished ahead of Quite Smart in that race, so I'm hoping she can come out fresh and give a similar performance, 10/1 seems big. With some question marks over some of the market leaders whether it be trip/ground/switching to turf, I think there's a good chance she could steal at place at the very least.
Raydari 10/1 Dundalk 8:40 - Had been in decent form before his last run which can be forgiven as he hit his head upon leaving the stalls. His 2 previous efforts before that last run seen him being beaten 0.75 lengths to Bomber Jackson and also going down to Asian Wing by 3.25 lengths. Asian Wing re - opposes but is 9 lbs higher also whereas Raydari races off 57 still. I really think Raydari is about to strike and barring no accidents at the stalls again I expect him to go close from this sort of mark if in the same vein of form.
Great work on Squire Stickler, many thanks as always. The amateurs here in Carlsbergland believe that Amanda Perret's Lu's Buddy is in fine order and primed to get off the mark after a half decent yet tender run last time out. Runs in the 4.10 Chepstow - the only runner from the yard. Hopefully our Singapore account will allow for more than a 1.25 bet! Happy punting to all dabbling
Alcatraz for me in this race. Been running in some very strong maidens. Last time he was beaten less than a length by Stormfly who has since gone on to beat Legatissimo and then go off favourite on a 1000 guineas trial and finish third. I respect Hala Madrid but I think it's going to take a good one to beat the fave
Newcastle 3.50 Rembrandt Van Rijn 8-1 I think this horse could be very underestimated by the handicapper and at the price is well worth a punt today. I feel this horse could easily end up much higher and nearer the 100 mark, and so at 82 looks very attractive.
Wheelbarrow for £200? Are you using your piggy bank coins for this raid!! Wheelbarrow!!! Good luck all!
Morning, all. Hope everyone well. And good luck with your old investments today. Main point of my focus, gee-gee wise, though is the sale of Call The Cops and Sign of A Victory ‘oooooooooooooooop’ at DBS later on today. I’m just hoping that some way or another they will remain at Seven Barrows under the care of the forum’s favourite trainer, Mr Henderson. I’m sure I speak for everyone, and I do mean everyone, on the forum when I say I’m praying this be the case and I’ve everything crossed. Both will only fulfil their potential if they remain with the man with the most brilliant brain in racing and the most magic of magic hands, Mr Henderson. God bless him and save him! Irving and Vibrato Valtat have been withdrawn from the sale. Private deal, already arranged, perhaps???
Afternoon all, My two for today; Rylee Mooch 4/1 Notts 1700 Outlaw Torn 5/1 Newcastle 1750 Win/Win Win Double. Good Luck All Happy Betting
Interesting couple of runners in your race Stick- Oskar Denarius is crying out for a stamina test and that rain over at Chepstow might partly give him what he needs. I'd say he won't be long in winning from a mark in the low 60's so keep an eye on him. Nibbled at in the market too. Hard to say how he will handle the ground but one that might like it, at a silly price, is son of Motivator, Smoker for Tim Vaughan. He's been brought over from Ireland where he has some very good handicap form to his name ranging from marks of 70 up to the mid 80s, and of course is well versed in slightly more testing conditions over there. He goes off 68 today but has the excellent 7lb claim of Ed Greatex, who has 5 wins from 25 rides this season. He hasn't produced his best form over middle distances so far but a son of Motivator out of a Rainbow Quest mare ought to be loving 10f soft ground and stiff track. Clearly you will have a better idea than me regarding the favourite, but those two are worth keeping an eye on, especially Oskar Denarius who can become progressive both up the handicap and up in trip.
Beef stew and dumplings. 8/10. Charlie Longsdon’s just been a bit brave! He’s just bought one out of the Pipe barn. The mare Molo for £27,000. Dear old Pip Hobbs has paid £75k for the ex Harry Fry trained 9YO Mendip Express. His 2016 Grand National horse maybe???
