    In at number 9 is Sunderland. Just above Newcastle in cost. Just above Newcastle in the league. Both racing to the bottom.

    Even if we beat Stoke in their final game they are already guaranteed to finish above Martinez's expensive squad of flops

    In at number 8 is Southampton. An astonishing 75% of their squad value only joined this season and they looked to gell immediately, though have recently fallen away as Koeman has been #foundout

    Which means that Martinez has assembled the 7th most expensive squad in the league and driven it down the table.
