Last season Arsenal finished on 79 points This season their maximum possible points tally is 77 Last season Arsenal finished 3 points behind Chelsea This season they are currently 13 points behind Chelsea Last season Arsenal finished 15 points ahead of United This season Arsenal are currently 2 points ahead of United Last season CL last 16 (lost to Bayern) This season CL last 16 (lost to Monaco) To be fair last season they took 6 out of 24 in big games, and this season it is 10 out of 24! So they have progressed a little when it comes to bottling big games
I see a marginal improvement if I'm honest but it has been done in a non pressure environment with us romping away with it. If they were sniffing around the top I would still expect them to bottle it as per. There is a massive difference between our two clubs mentality. Most Goons see top four as achievement but we see anything but 1st as failure. Additionally I have noted increasing bitterness from their fans towards us and the fact we are London's ONLY European cup winners seriously grates with them. Claude (Arsenal TV) is one of the few realist Goons about but for the most part the vast majority are Ty types.
Clearly there has been no improvement. If anything, they have gone backwards. They crow on about pulling away from Spurs, but what with the disruptions we've had at our club over the past two seasons, they should be miles ahead of us, and they are not. PISKIE and his cronies can put up as much bravado as they like, but we all know that they've got to be worried about next season.
Arsenal's seasons are like rolling a dice. Previous results have no bearing on future results. The only difference is rolling a dice is less predictable.
The Roman era must have been awful for you then. Most times you end up as failures and it seems to me, and everyone else, that you were morr than happy to accept failure. Admit it, you are talking bollocks. If you werent you would realise you have quite some way to go before you can be compared to Arsenal. If they dont win the league for the next decade, they'll be someway ahead of you.
UIR, having been pm'd regarding your mental deficiencies I think it is probably best I do not respond to your post. Good luck in the future and I hope your treatment is successful. Lots of love, BITKOSB. Champions!
I know Ozzie worked hard to get me banned the couple of times that I was actually banned from the Chelsea board, but the silly ****er must know that, in all truth, I quite like him! I never was his enemy, and never will be. He's like that demented mate that we all knew at school, the one who always took things a bit too far, but would always watch your back in a tight spot.
Have you paid off the £748m that you owe RA yet ? The answer is no. So add that amount to your player purchase outlay figure and then deduct income from player sales figure and you will find that you still owe a ****ing huge amount of money ! Debt is still debt until it's paid so stop the stupid FFP posts as you making a fool of yourself
Arsenal have been show ponies since Viera left. I think Fellaini would've been a good fit for them, but he's not the sort of player Wenger would buy, which really explains why they're always the bridesmaid, or ushers.
Where does this idea come from? Every source I check has Chelsea spending significantly more on there wage bill than Arsenal. It seems Chelsea's wage bill is about £30m a year higher than Arsenals. (Source: every link on the first page of google when searching for the 2015 wage bill, sources include guardian, Independent etc who reference the clubs official accounts afaik). Over the last five seasons Arsenal have an average net transfer spend of £19m per season whilst Chelsea have a net transfer spend of £55m per season. So Chelsea have a net spend of about three times as much per season in recent years. This season Chelsea have managed to have a lower net spend on transfers than Arsenal for the first time in years, despite outspending Arsenal by about £30m-£40m. And this was only achieved due to the overinflated prices for a couple of players sold in the summer, e.g. £40m for Luiz which no club other than PSG would even have thought of. I'd imagine with stock of loan players to sell on dwindling Chelsea will once again have a higher net spend than most soon enough.
