Being a 34 year old is completely different if you're a DM rather than a forward. He's only a year older than Shaun Derry and has played at a consistantly higher level.
Agreed again simon. Tough tackling DM or CM doesnt need to cover so much ground, and as Phil said if he has had an injury free career its a major plus
According to a couple of sources on twitter Finnish international creative midfielder Alexei Eremenko has said that he "may be playing with Leeds on Saturday". He's available on a free and I have seen some very very positive reports from Kilmarnock fans (seriously to the point of "best ever player to play for Kilmarnock"). Apparently Celtic, Rangers and Cardiff are also interested. Could possibly be Killa's replacement to play alongside Brown?

How do Bucks Only problem I envisage with Brown is he may confuse the rest of the midfield with his cross eyes.
It's on the OS that Brown has signed on a 1 year deal with an option to extend for a further year. Seems a smart move centract wise for a player of his age and our goals.
