A chance for our backward neighbours to get back in the Football League today.

I'm wishing them luck, just because it would be a laugh getting a cup game against them.

For some reason, all the tickets were sold by a company called Seetickets, who charged a £3.00 fee on top of the ticket price.

As a consequence, Seetickets are earning more out of this game than either of the clubs playing. <doh>

    Bristol will win.

Do Grimsby still have 2 managers?

Do you remember that? How novel.

I don't know much about their current set up. I just remember one of the managers being ok, and the other being tetchier than Big Nige when he spoke to John Tondeur (spelling?).

Are Lincoln still down there too?

They've just got the one manager, the tetchy one got the elbow eighteen months back.

    Lincoln are still down there.

It's currently 1-1, Brizzle just equalised, they're lucky not to be a man down after the keeper handled outside the box.

It'd be good to draw a retaliation match with Everton next season.

Sabotage the foundations in the away end and kill them all. Scum.

Just tuned in to watch the climax, but Kevin Drinkell isn't playing so I may not bother.

I remember a trip to Cleethorpes in 1980, (the match ended 1-1). It wasn't a giggle, that's for sure.

Pens, with Bristol Rovers subbing their keeper in the last minute.

I was at that game - they were all over us 1st half but Nick Deacy equalized in front of us in the 2nd.

Unlucky Mariners. Grimsby were the better team and should have won it before pens.

The ref. bottled a big decision. Good luck next time.
