Back to 4-4-2 for me. Harper Rosy Chester Dawson Robbo Elmo Meyler Quinn Brady N'Doye Jelavic Not sure of the fitness of Jelavic but what else can we do. Its harsh on Macca who shouldnt have come off last week but i dont like him at full back and the two CB's are better than him. Lets show some ****ing guts, pride, bottle, heart whatever you want to call it but go down fighting not like last week.
Just a quick ask but best places to park etc for Spurs. Was thinking of parking up at Cockfosters and tube into WHL? Good or bad idea?
Im coming in from the south at seven sisters so no good to ya.but heard some use Enfield car station car park.
If he will stick with 352, maybe go with the following: Harper Chester Dawson Macca Elmo Meyler Hudd Quinn Brady N'Doye Jelavic/Hernadez
It's not a bad idea, though the last twice I've been I've managed to park on the street not far from the ground. It's horrible round there though, it makes Anlaby Road look quite posh.
The mrs sent me to get some plants from Aldi last night. Kinell Bev Rd's never been posh but it was bloody scary yesterday.
Mate Im going with reckons theres some industrial unit type places nearby he's parked at in the past, and we need to be close cos his old mans in his 80s, not overly mobile and recovering from a fall, but desperate to go and will stand for 90 mins if he has to. Are we likely to find anywhere do you think? I've always just train and tube in so this will be novel for me.
I think they've extended the controlled parking zones for match days - I was going to head for Cmmercial Road which looks industrial and just outside zone. Anyone got any better places?
Will arrive home about 1 am to watch the live TV coverage of the 2nd half. Before then I will be officiating in the North Face 100 km ultra marathon being run near to where I live in the upper Blue Mountains. The route takes in rugged bush tracks and trails and competitors have a max 28 hours to complete the journey which started early this morning. The race has already been won but over 1000 competitors are currently still plodding along in the darkness. Predicting at least a point for the Tigers but hoping for more.
When I say not far from the ground, I'm still talking about nearly a mile away, if he's not good on his feet you might be better parking up and getting a tube or cab(even the tube at Seven Sisters is a bit of a walk, overground stations are nearer and you can get there from Liverpool Street - There's a Weatherspoons just outside Liverpool Street that a lot of away fans go to, as there's no away friendly pubs around WHL).
Brucey should have the lads fired up for this and they'll be determined to get a positive result. Well, apart from Jake's mates of course.
I reckon it'll be Harper Elmo Chester Dawson McShane Brady Meyler Huddlestone Quinn Jelavic N'Doye Possibly Aluku in for one of the strikers, probably N'Doye.
Leroy Rosenior has just given Bruce a bit of a hammering on the Premier League preview show; blaming the 3-5-2 system, saying "The players are not comfortable playing that way and they don't have a plan-B". He has a point, though he may be slightly biased with his lad being a right back and not getting a game.
