After the last year of Massimo's rule and some strange things going on, some directors coming and going, some dodgy players coming and not playing and then going, some coaches coming and going, are we buying the ground back or are we just giving cash to GFH. The car crash interview yesterday or as someone said 'the train crash' interview so lets call it Amtrak presser, I just wish Cellino was doing the going, but if he did what would we get. So if you could choose our owners who would you choose. I would go with Len Blavatnik who owns Warner Music and is worth £13.7 billion and is Britain's richest man
Ideally I would like someone with the money to have us competing with Man City and Chelsea, yes it is a dream but if Manchester City managed to attract the right owner when the City already had a team that plays in red why can't Leeds attract someone when it is a one club City... Doing a google search for worlds richest I found Charles Koch, I would say him as it would make a change having a rich Koch own us instead of a useless cock...
Not that easy 20 as you know most of your £20m will find its way offshore into a bank account owned by Haigh, Bates, GFH and a whole host of consultants
Even if you had the richest man in the world backing your team, with the FFP regulations in force you would find it difficult to break into the top of the Premiership........... Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal have (unfortunately) moved into a different league compared with every other club in the country as they have squads valued in 100's of millions and all they have to do is manage their resources so that they stay at this level, given their level of turnover and the extras they get from being in The Champions league. Even if you had an owner with the money to invest 250 M, to buy you a squad to compete with them, you are not allowed to do so...and the days of building a squad with home grown talent that can compete with the top clubs are long gone. The best you can hope for is to get into the top league and compete with the likes of Spurs and Liverpool, but it is a very big ask (at the present time). In the meantime, I suppose that you are all praying for Millwall to come straight back up, so that you can at least have a couple of matches every season that mean something
The cheek of a 'Wall' fan still trying to compare yourself with a proper football club. Enjoy the terraces in div 3
City failed and received a 60 million Euro fine http://www.financialfairplay.co.uk/latest-news/reports-of-record-€60m-£49m-fine-for-psg-and-man-city
She is thanks. Started having trouble swallowing (no not that). Had a camera shoved down her throat via her nose. They spotted a "lump" on the base of her tongue in her throat Had MRI scan a couple of weeks ago, went for results yesterday All good news. Lump is a benign cyst and swallowing problem is a reflux issue, easy fixed with a few meds
EIO,nail on head, the ffp rules have fecked any team thats not inthe rich club, Sky fooked it first ffp just carried it on.
