After every game the Club receives a report with all the various statistics of the game. For example on Sky one often sees possession percentages and the precise distance covered by each player. Does anyone know how these almost real time statistics are measured? Do they have a gismo in their underpants?

Here we go again, the man is obsessed. A genuine question attracts a "who cares" response. Who does he think he is judge ,jury and executioner. He also comments about my use of capitals in thread titles but I note he has not challenged 4 recent threads from JGF2 in a similar style. I do not seek to ban the man from stating his point of view. I simply want him off my back. He thinks I simply don't have right to post on his forum
I accept that the use of capitals in thread headers is deemed to be "on line shouting" so I will desist. I know one forum who will not accept them so perhaps a suggestion from the moderators to whoever runs the show. No answer just did as honestly I didn't see it as being that important. Clearly you do
Hmmm thats even more interesting. If you are aware that its 'on line shouting' and is not acceptable on some forums it begs the question even more as to WHY you would do it? I thought it must be an ego thing? With regard JGF, I have acquired, after knowing him for some time through this forum an affection for his quirkiness.. He adds to the forum rather than detracts from it.

I fully understand JGF (time and tide) but clearly I am not allowed such latitude. I did as a matter of courtesy to Banksy (although he scarcely deserves it) do some research after his query and have summarised my findings. Just a quiet word, our fellow forum members are getting fed up with constant sniping on threads, they say it's boring and putting them off participating because they don't wish to get involved. Now I know Lared you have difficulty with me because the last time we had this problem the Supermods were contacted, banksy I have had a word with and until the last few days he has been totally cooperative, I issued a warning on the other thread 48 hours ago that I would delete it if things persisted I have now done it. I am not going to get involved with or respond to PM's but I am going to say very publically any threads where this type of boring conversations continue I will delete with out consultation or warnings,they will be gone, if that does not work I will request the Supermods to ban the offerder or offenders, anyone can of course report my decisions or actions to the Supermods. I am asking one last time please consider all members otherwise all offending posts or threads will be gone.

This "banter" or more accurately "baiting" between LARED and Banksy is getting very tedious and boring. About time the pair of you grew up or went somewhere else!
If you know anything about me it is that I believe in certain principles and I will defend those to the death. I absolutely believe that your public classification of anything associated with Bristol Rovers or their supporters (Ian Holloway) represents the devil incarnate contributes to the ongoing hatred which exists in society. It is after all the basis of the race relations act. I believe there are only good and bad people in society and who they support in the arena of football has nothing to do with that status. You on the other hand classify your personal friends as sub human just because they come from the “blue side” .Words fail me. While I am quite happy to challenge your views I have never threatened you or told what you should do but quite frankly you have totally spoiled my experience of what I enjoy most i.e. a good adult argument about football, politics or whatever as again I absolutely believe in the principle of independent thought and the ability to peacefully exchange views. The facts are that it is by challenging the wrongs in this world that change is delivered and in this respect I have contributed to the establishment of case law in my specialist subject. I also know that the law which affected the Ashton Vale application has now changed because it was a bad law. Your attitude I believe does not bring people together. Only perpetuates division Your offer of telling me what I can and cannot do is therefore not acceptable as I don’t believe gagging one another achieves anything. I don’t believe my threads are mine or that you own yours. If you remember you started this feud by declaring my views as negative and boring and advising that I should piss off. . Therefore in the interests of the other members of the forum I feel I have to do the decent thing and withdraw totally form the forum as it is apparent that we cannot co-exist. This represents as sad day for me but I can see no point in continuing as you aint going to change.
