Haha it sounds intriguing SS. I'll let you know how I get on and if I fail miserably, then I'll be in touch!!
Did anyone see Brian May on Question Time last night? He was like a stoned teenager talking about politics.
Not surprising in a rock star from that era. If you dug up Freddie Mercury today, he'd still probably test positive. For drugs, obvs, not aids.
People who want to do it will do it anyway. Plus you will make a lot of money in tax revenue/create jobs, and can save courts money. It's less harmful than tobacco and people shouldn't be arrested for doing something that they decide to do to themselves.
Sorry it isn't less harmful,it is more...in fact 1 joint does the damage of 5 ***s. 30,000 deaths a year. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-471911/One-cannabis-joint-harms-lungs-cigarettes.html
I'm going to use the argument, which annoys me when people do it, where I'm going to dismiss it based on the paper They're hard drugs, not soft drugs.
so you cant understand food addiction yet you claim to be addicted to exercise... addiction is just a pattern of behaviour but what I said is correct, why do you think there are so many fat people around? because you cant just quit eating. you HAVE to eat to survive and unfortunately most people seem to not be able to make the correct choices. its the most difficult addiction of all, millions of people are struggling with it. smoking is no different from anything else. just stop, you don't need it to survive
Some people can take soft drugs when young and never again, but for others, cannabis is just a gateway drug. Cannabis is soon not enough and they try other things. It's especially dangerous now, because the stuff available isn't the mild weed available in the sixties/seventies. Psychotropic drugs act on the brain....the brain is kinda important...it is who you are.
http://www.rcpsych.ac.uk/mentalheal.../alcoholanddrugs/cannabisandmentalhealth.aspx Anyone who isn't sure about the effects of cannabis on the brain may like to read this. Scroll down to mental health problems.
ALL illegal drugs are harmful, which is why they are illegal. There is no arguement for any narcotic. For the life of me i just cannot understand why anybody would wish to use drugs.
A friend of mine had a son and two son-in-laws who were committed for psychotic events following cannabis use. Don't need to tell her that there is a connection.
Well I don't know, I might just read my book for 20 minutes then just see who is on the Kylie Minogue show tonight. For some reason the BBC were advertising it as the Graham Norton show. Who's he?
