As my final post here a recent FOI request consequent to Ed Millibands statement re soaking the rich revealed that
The highest paid 3,000 people in the UK pay more income tax than the bottom nine million lowest paid, according to official Government statistics.
Still next year we can all give our enormously expensive season ticket money to the nearest food bank

I have worked for charity for the past fifteen years working with people with people who are truly vulnerable, I have ran services in the community, prior to that I worked for the NHS. In turn I received a wage well below the national average. I consider my emotional investment to be substantial, and hard to quantify in financial terms.

The problem is that despite all the effort most recipients don't even say thank you, they expect it ... My experience is a polar opposite to yours.

Well done Cliftonville. I would point out that my Charity efforts have not been personal donations but money that I have raised through long arduous out of work hours so like you I feel I have done my bit. As regards my experiences re a lack of gratitude this probably occurred because I was dealing with organisations rather than individuals. My worst experience was at the RUH at Bath where I teamed up with the Lions to raise £20k for a new van to go out in the community and detect eye problems with diabetics. This was done to celebrate the retirement of a lady who had worked there for umpteen years. I had an agreement with her that the RUH would do a surgery and my local village doctors. When the van was delivered and kitted out the new incumbent nurse declined the visit as being "nothing to do with him".
As regards Banksy ongoing tirade of personal insults which I trust many silent observers will consider are unjustified, he has persuaded me that I will never give in to the likes of him and I will continue posting. I do endeavour not to respond to his taunts and stick to the subject matter. Lets see if he will do the same

There is not enough supply for the demand, that is the problem and why houses are so expensive thus the problem created by thatcher, human rights are needed with the regions stated as to why we need to keep the human rights act.

And it is fair that 3000 billionaires and multi hundred millionaires pay the same tax as 9 million on the breadline and struggling.

I'd still rather be a billionaire and paying lots of tax then someone on the dole or in a bad o hours contract and not pay tax

Absolutely I pay my tax a year in arrear, so 6.8% of £56,700, 000 .00p ( £3,855,600 ) easily pays for the new years earnings @ 45% less monies apportioned to other legal loop holes :emoticon-0157-sun: :emoticon-0136-giggl

No I don't think I'll bother you boring man, that offer was given and rebuked twice, that boat has left ..I'm just in for the personal insults now.!

I'll have you off crying to the mods and your wife et al, in no time..

You're a liar and a hypocrite and I detest both, who cares how much you give to whoever and who cares what your politics are, no one cares what you earn or how much money you make on shares either. You are a big cry baby who throws insults across the internet but acts like a spoilt child when you get some back. You are the epitome of a 'keyboard warrior' a phrase you used about me, yet I can assure you you would not say to my face what you have said on here.

Your first post back here included a dig at me and so has every post after, you have lied on every post, you have no self awareness and you are a pedantic little man with an over-inflated ego who has been the most negative poster on here ever! You have once again spoiled a good thread with your inability to listen to anyone elses point of view and somehow believe its all about you?

It's either that or you are very unwell.

Apart from that, I have to say I don't like you very much.

..I'm just in for the personal insults now.! Well there you are moderators his raison d'etre in a nutshell. He accuses me of lying in every post when all I have done is express my point of view. Some have agreed and some have not

    You should try it!

Go have a few beers or something, soak up all that bitterness.
