If it is true, what I can't understand is that in any other form of work, if you refused to work you'd get disciplined and probably sacked. Why not in football?
Very strange! I take it you suspect that Barton and Hill are behind a fair bit of unrest. I have wondered the same thing ever since the lad and I watched the subs warming up together before a game. They were playing keepy-uppy and Hill just repeatedly hammered the ball at one of the young lads (can't remember which one), resulting in him having to do repeated "punishments" of sit ups. My lad and I both thought it was pretty ****ish of Hill at the time. He seemed quite vindictive with it.
I know very little but I feel comfortable thinking both Hill and Barton would of done anything to play ... Not doubting their desire and effort but I would argue against their ability in truth I have never taken to them IMO Hill was a decent full back but 6 years ago and never liked Barton apart from off the pitch
I don't know Col, I'm just sick of them hinting at unrest then being coy on names and the story, just smacks of blame transferral to me. And we have problems with player attitude every year.......perhaps some of the 'senior pros' make it an unpleasant place to be. All I know is that I would rather watch Taarabt, Vargas and Isla play football than either Hill or Barton.
Yep, me too. Maybe the only answer is a near complete clear out and let's start again? Must say, I'm not looking forward to Saturday very much!!
With you on the clear out, management too, it's got to feel like a fresh start, get rid of this toxic history. I was really looking forward to seeing the Chileans this season, but at no stage did we play football in a way which would get the best out of them. What a waste. No ST for me next season, I can't commit to 23 trips up and down the M40, and there are never problems getting tickets in the Championship as a member. Hopefully get a couple of lads weekends watching European football in too. I just hope we don't get another temporary squad designed to grind it's way to the play off places again, we have to get out of the habit of a rebuild every summer. No choice this time, but the way we handle it and who we recruit will tell us a lot about how long the misery will last. I'd settle for a few seasons building something lasting so I can actually enjoy a couple of seasons in the PL before I am too decrepit to drag myself to games.
You say you first started going to QPR in 1963? Either your grandson has hijacked your account or you have entered your second childhood. Enjoy Marine Boy. Nice smiley work by the way.
Same for me. I'm just not convinced that we will do it right this time...............we never do!! David M has been saying exactly the same as you are here. I totally agree. We need to spend a couple of seasons in the Championship and re-build the club totally. Saturday will be very sombre.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/qpr-bad-egg-eduardo-vargas-5685603 Queens Park Rangers rebel Eduardo Vargas refused to play for the club at Crystal Palace as they battled relegation. We revealed yesterday that the 25-year-old Chilean is one of the so-called ‘bad eggs’ currently in the firing line over their attitude at the Loftus Road club. Boss Chris Ramsey twice asked him to go on as a substitute in the club’s defeat at Selhurst Park on March 14. Palace were leading 3-1 at the time, Matt Phillips had scored an 83rd-minute consolation goal to give QPR a glimmer of hope. Vargas was supposed to replace Shaun Wright-Phillips five minutes from time. But he refused. Ramsey asked again, Vargas refused once more and the manager was forced to send on 18-year-old midfielder Reece Grego-Cox instead. Vargas is on loan from Italian side Napoli so is set to leave at the end of the season and QPR have confirmed he was fined two weeks’ wages as a punishment, but refused to comment further. The incident illustrates the concerns behind the scenes over the conduct of some players as the club failed in their battle against the drop. It also underlines the scale of the problem that faced Ramsey, set to be confirmed as the Hoops' new boss at the end of the season. Mauro Zarate was fined two weeks' wagesfor storming out after failing to make the match-day squad against Liverpool earlier this month. He has been sent back to his parent club, West Ham. Vargas is currently back home in Chile and will not return to QPR as his loan expires at the end of the season. Although Adel Taarabt and Armand Traore are both fit, they will not play any part for the remainder of the campaign. s revealed by Mirrorsport yesterday, QPR are actively exploring ways of ending the contracts of both players this summer as they each still have 12 months left to run. Harry Redknapp, who quit as boss in February, described Taarabt as “lazy” and last month Ramsey said: “I think many a person has tried (to nurture him) but it has to come from within. “At the moment I haven’t got the time to spend on him when I have to get the rest of the squad to where they need to be.” QPR midfielder Joey Barton, who coined the term "bad eggs" phrase, claimed on Twitter on Tuesday: “I don’t believe Vargas, Isla, Zarate, Taarabt or Traore are responsible for QPR’s relegation.”

Neither in fact. It's called having a laugh....you should try it sometime. That meme quite clearly hit a nerve.
Not really, it's quite amusing being stalked by the board's very own Forest Gump. I like the way you post a laughing smiley so we can tell what you write is meant to be funny, that's handy.
It is meant to be funny and light hearted, that's why I put a smiley! You really need to lighten up, Victor Meldrew. What does SB stand for?.....Serious B******D! Here comes the smiley............................wait for it!.............and...... please log in to view this image
