    Good Morning Everyone,

Another day gone, and we are none the wiser.

It was revealed yesterday that Redfearn and Cellino have NOT spoken since the end of the season, with neither party apparently willing to budge an inch.

If you think its stressful for us, the fans, spare a thought for Redders nearest and dearest!

Lucy Ward, Redder's partner let rip into a WUM who tried to make out that Redders and Cellino had indeed spoken to each other on the dog and bone.

    My question today is :-

If you are a Manager of a Football Club (or a close relative) how much privacy should you get?

There is a press conference at 2pm today. Whatever can that be about? <yikes>

    We have the retained list!!!

Rodolph Austin and Aidy White have gone. Kalvin Phillips and Lewis Walters both offered new deals.

A number of scholars have also been released. Two have been offered pro deals - Frank Mulhern and Tom Lyman.

Players offered new deals: Lewie Coyle, Tyler Denton, Eric Grimes, Luke Parkin, Kalvin Phillips, Alex Purver, Jake Skelton, Lewis Walters

Players released: Daniel Atkinson, Rudy Austin, Luke Booker,Alex Cairns,Afolabi Coker, Stuart Taylor, Zac Thompson, Michael Tonge, Aidy White

One question, why on earch did we not SELL Austin. Pleny of speculation that top six Championship clubs will be fighting over him...

Austin could be for 2 reasons: 1) as a former captain ould be an eventful 24-hours now that we know which players are going. 2) Maybe someone better coming in and Austin being a high earner? although I would have kept him and moved him on in January. Press conference today could be eye opening: Embargo lifted and maybe new players coming in, Redders going/staying, Tommo coming back/sacked, Pearson and investment news ......

We won't get any new players in until June/July at the earliest, and they won't be better than Austin. Not the best midfielder to wear the white shirt, but far from being the worst and a hell of a long way from being the worst player last season.

That's what I was thinking. so we live to dream again for a couple of hours.

Cellino selling to Red Bull with Pearson being the link and future CEO. Redders going/staying/tommo sacked/coming back. New coach/manager coming in .... or it could be a season ticket push ffs, but how come none of the media types have a Scooby whats going to happen

Cellino will be going nowhere anytime soon.
    Redders will be going.
    Thompson won't be returning.
Pearson will be here to try appease some fans and maybe even be a scapegoat.
    Austin has left the building.
Some of the young kids won't sign as Redders has gone.
Mowatt will deffo go over summer.
    Cook will go next summer.
Cellino will bring in more dross players and manager.
Crowds will be down again this season.
Wie will finish between 15th and 19th.

This is what i've become, pessimistic as fk.
Whats most worrying is most of the above will probably happen.

    Good Morning

Well I said that Austin would be let go back in January. I will now be waiting for Wootton to be sold in the summer. Like I said back in January.

RCDM I think that has pretty much sums up the summer that's coming up for us.

Will be intresting to see what comes up at 2pm

    Morning RCDM,

Why on earth would we have not kept Austin. According to many, including Redder, he was one of our best players.

Could it just be Cellino flexing his muscles.

How do you know they won't be better than Austin? He has only improved during during the latter part of this season but has been hit and miss the rest of his time here.
Cellino will have learnt a lot this season despite being banned hence the Pearson appointment. The bulk of transfer dealings are done late in the window not just here at Leeds despite what many of our fans think. I'm no fan of Cellino at all but i will give him another year to see if he is as committed as he says he is. I'm still hopefull he will sell up though.

We have some odds for new Manager of Leeds Utd

Hasselbaink is 4/1 for the job with Paddy Power this morning, not far
please log in to view this image
behind Adkins (3/1F) and just ahead of out-of-work Uwe Rosler (8/1). Grayson and McAllister, who have both previously been in charge at Elland Road, are both 12/1.

IMO, and it is just my opinion, Austin has been the scapegoat a hell of a lot more than he should have been.

Yes we are in a better place, as far as we know.

But if you think he's going to change the tact he's had for the last 20 odd years just because Pearsons here then i think you're dreaming.
