Off Topic Feuds..

We all have them lads, whether it be with the neighbours, the wife or just society in general, we all have them. I sort of smirked when I read about my sons feud the other night, probably drunk but well equipped to handle himself and I'm sure after his contact with me on Sunday, it is sorted.

Anyway, I had my own feud on here last week with Stu, I still see what I read but this has been put to bed now. We have exchanged pm's and as far as I'm concerned it is buried. I can only speak through experience but I have certainly written stuff over the 10 years on forums that I have regretted the next day and I will probably do it again and that's why I probably hate texting, It's easily misread without emotion..

I have met some lads who have become sound mates on this forum, (they know who they are) and lads who I have a lot of time and respect for who I haven't met. For me it's horses for courses, we all have our bad times in life and we do probably bring that mentality on here after a few beers..

I'm a Sunderland fan, Stu is a Sunderland fan, it's water under the bridge now so lets finish the job this weekend against Leicester.. Ha'way the Laaads..

I once had this feud at my last address, with the bloke who owned the fishing tackle shop at the end of the road. He didn't really know about the feud or the fact I'd pronounced him my arch nemesis, I just don't think he liked the look off me. He used to give my really evil looks when ever I walked past, **** knows why. I found this hilarious so in the spirit I used give him evil looks back. This went on for about 2 years! Well one afternoon after a few pints in the sun, I turned onto my street as he stepped out of his shop where he just froze in front of me. It was a face off, feet from each other. We both stood in place just eyeballing each other without saying a word for about 2 or 3 seconds, but it felt like a minute. Suddenly I addressed him "at last we meet, nemesis brought together on hallowed ground, this is my kingdom and it will not be taken by you with your fancy nets and poles of length. I than pulled a warrior stance and puffed my chest out. He burst out laughing and I went home. He never gave me an evil look again.

And that's my story about a feud I once had.

 

Stu is a bit of an enigma to me. At times he has me scratching my head thinking 'what the ****', and at other times I find his posts either funny or class...

Been up into Laos for a few days...had a interesting talk with some old fella, who lived there when the Yanks didn't bomb **** out of the country, nor did they kill several members of his family...as none of it ever happened.
