Even if we had changed the name for an unnamed 'sponsor' we'd have only been 'big' in Malaysia ... marketing genius please log in to view this image
Well as Heineken paid S$7.9 billion to acquire the brand in 2012, I guess they can't be doing too bad dipshit
Is this really a ****ing thread??? Wait a minute Skol is big in Brazil? WTF Wheres Hopfenperle anyway
Spotted skol anarl. Always remember when my old man got the Xmas bevvies in, there'd still be a tray of skol left in July. Carling is still black label in South Africa.
We couldn't be sponsored by "Tiger Beer" if we were called Hull Tigers, although we could be if still called Hull City AFC nicknamed The Tigers. Obviously raising sponsorship has **** all to do with changing the name so it's ****ing irrelevant anyway.
Of course the number 1 beer is crap, it's driven by beer pong and beer bongs not by anyone who is actually having a beer to enjoy a beer.
I don't know about that. I'm currently in the land of Gambrinus and it's a decent tipple. You're just annoyed about being Canada lite!
I don't care really but I certainly don't know anyone who has a bud outside of binge drinking at parties. We used to buy 30 or so cases every Thursday, Friday and Saturday but we certainly never drank any that weren't complimented by a ping pong ball. In fact we used to buy one cheaper it was called Ginny Lite and was $8.99 a 30 pack ( a case), bud light was $11.99 a 30 pack to give a comparison and at $8.99 we were being ripped off because drinking actuall piss would probably taste better.
I drank Tiger best ale (dunno if it's the same stuff) in Wetherspoons t'other night. Thought it was a bit bland.
I thought it was interesting in France earlier this year when I asked for a Kronenbourg they didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Turns out they just call it 1664.
Why are some people so childishly obsessed with a sponsor having Tiger(s) in it? How many sponsorship deals have anything to do with club name or nickname? Millwall have never had a lion moniker related sponsor, whereas Leeds have. Manchester City's main sponsor means united, but they've not gone with any of the Uniteds. Sponsors are either looking to be associated with their local team or looking for global exposure, if Tiger Beer wanted global exposure they'd sponsor a club who are a giant in their league, they'd not give a **** about our nickname, as it isn't needed to emphasise the Tiger part of their name. Please someone name a sponsor who have chosen the club to back based solely on name or nickname, and any of the Red Bull teams don't count.
What was going on at these partys with the ping pong balls Elle ? Did it involve a dwarf, tell me there was a dwarf involved
Liverpool probably have Dunkin' Donuts due to the huge hole in the middle of their defence. Does that count?
The defence is not the problem with Liverpool, its the lack of bite up front. The Lion bar would have been a good sponsor for them.
