Lets face it, we're going down, so lets go down with some dignity, no crying faces on MOTD, accept relegation without being a girl about it, after all, does it really matter to any of us proper supporters what league we're in?
We We aren't the ones out on the battlefield though are we Our troops aren't fight till the death because they know that there are pastures just has fruitful elsewhere Well at least for a fair few anyway
Absolutely, no blubbing, we are only dropping down to let Leeds, Wednesday, Huddersfield and Rotherham know who the top side in Yorkshire still are before storming straight back up as champions.
If we do go down then it'll hurt for a while but after wards I'll be looking forward to see how things unfold at the club and seeing if AA & EA have lost some of their smugness! Also I'll look forward to see if they've got the balls to keep the players or if they're willing to let players go on the cheap?
It's not balls you need to keep the players, its money, hard cash. If you all know of someone who is willing to pick up the tab then don't hesitate to let us all in on it.
We've got the sky money and relegation clauses! Any debt is owed to AA himself! So as I said if he's got the balls to ride it out for a season like Newcastle did then we'll be ok.
Same applies about crying and bitching on here. If/ when we go down it's because we finished in the bottom three. Simple as. Take it on the chin and let's not start acting like a set of hysterical tarts. Even under provocation, rise above it and let's show some class.
Mr Allam has given up the idea of calling us "Hull Tigers" and has arranged for the entire team to train in the closed season at Manilla. He is then going to apply to the FA to have us re-named "The Manilla Folders"!
Yes to this. It'll hurt for a while, but we've been through this before so let's get stuck into the championship and you never know we might even go up as champions?
I've never seen a Hull city fan cry after relegation, we'll leave that the Newcastle fans. We're used to failure. The only tears I've cried have been after promotion and when we got the cup final.
True that. I've only blubbered after the wins and success we could have never imagined at one time. It will be nice to see us lift the old league champions trophy.
Screw that. Three points at White Hart Lane puts the heat on Newcastle and Sunderland. Let them worry about being relegated with dignity.
What a load of defeatist wussies. All I have read on this forum for ages now is we are going down; it's Allam's fault; it's Bruce's fault; it's the players' faults; it's all the injuries; it's the FA's fault for letting the name change distraction drag on too long; it's all because of those late goals we conceded in too many matches; it's the Council's fault; etc. etc. etc. I'm surprised someone hasn't tried to blame aliens or global warming or voodoo dolls on the pitch. Give it time. Maybe we should look at ourselves. The fan base is split with small factions exerting influence way beyond their numbers. I get the impression that some groups of fans go to matches just to boo or demonstrate with little regard for what happens down on the pitch. Where is the unity? I, for one, do not want to face relegation with dignity. As a life long fan, I want to stand on my seat and scream at my team to win matches for me. I deserve the right to do that. If I have to put cotton wool in my ears, I don't want to hear boos or anti Allam chants. There is another time, another place for that! I want to hear loud and passionate and continuous cheering and chanting and singing. That adrenaline can only be passed on to the players. We are not down. We are not out. We are not relegated. We will escape all that. This I believe!
