I really like TALE OF LIFE who is fantastically well bred and has any amount still to come, my anyone but AOB bias has to be taken into account though.

Pretty obvious why Nicky hardly gets a year or two out of his big guns is that he's always so sporting in running them during the winter months... <whistle>

What do we make of Joseph not being able to do 9st today? Surely thats curtains for him as most big races tend to be around that sort of weight?

Another lovely prospect there for Rich Ricci at Killarney. Karalee has absolutely hacked up.

I'm a bit late with question, but do you think the forecast good going is suitable for Maarek today? I thought the "world's fastest ploughhorse" (just kidding) needed the mud? I hope he wins for you, but I think I will wait for softer conditions for him. Might well regret it though!

French 1000 - The unexposed MAIMARA will do for me as a 25/1 each-way poke. This daughter of Makfi does have pace but proved stamina last time when winning over 1m 2f. Her draw could have been kinder but the principles are not really likely to go forward given their hold up style and that should give Alexis Badel an opportunity to be aggressive and get across early to hold a good position. It will need a real aggressive ride but I like it's place chances if the first half of the race falls into place.

This her eyecatching maden effort when a close 3rd to the re opposing 2nd fav today, Mexican Gold. I like how she was running on at the line again and I think that is why a positive ride could be so beneficial today.

Ahh, fell out of the stalls. Ran on nicely so she might be interesting for a place chance in the French Oaks.

Maarek absolutely flew home to get 4th. Think he got squeezed up at the start which wouldn't have helped and softer conditions would have been preferable. Plenty of promise again and signs are good for the rest of the season.

Last race at Leps I'm going to put a couple of quid รจ/w on Creative Talent at 25/1. Has had a recent race and up against many new comers. Hope he can put this experience to good use.

Yep, should win a few on his preferred softer ground. Jamie Spencer's mounts quite often do "fly home" for 4th, 5th, or 6th place?
