I still blame the council for all of those problems. I haven't checked but I will have a guess and say they all got re-elected this week?

Just a small point of order, but when he gave over £27m to clear the immediate debt, then risked his own personal money in the form of loans, I doubt very much if he knew what the FA Cup was, let alone have any plans on giving it to get us to an FA Cup Final.

I know its hard to believe, for us as footy addicts, but he really had no clue what the hell he was getting himself into, it was just a gesture to him, to save something he knew mattered and was important for some of the locals which is why he went against the advice of his advisors, and lucky for us, otherwise we'd not be having the scale of discussions we currently enjoy.

Spoke to a number of season ticket holders within the last few weeks and the scandalous price increase has meant that quite a few of them would almost certainly not be renewing for next season , but would continue to go as and when the admission prices were realistic.
Should we be a Championship club next season , which on yesterdays display seems increasingly like, I seriously cannot believe any passes would be sold (full adult no concessions, £545 for me) unless there was a drastic drop in the price.

Compared to not having a club to talk about at all, yeah, it is.

I hope as you grow up you don't have to endure what some of us have in support of our football club. I realise this means you'll never completely understand some things but I'm honestly happy that you don't.

It seems that while enduring those things, you learnt nothing.

At what point did it change from this act of generosity to a way of bullying people, flaunting his wealth and causing huge rifts between the club, council and community?

At what point did you choose to become a victim?

Who said I was referring to the fans?

I could have been referring to the local community, the FA, the administrative staff or the council to name a few.

Bullying - 'to use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force them to do something'.

Based on that definition then no I haven't, as I'm pretty sure I've already reiterated on more than one occasion.

Those evicted from E1-E3 have been for a start.

Other parties that qualify using that definition include the council, his staff and the community.

Whilst I'm sure you have some ignorant retort, you can consider this the end of the conversation, this Sunday lunch won't cook itself.

Ok... when Sunday lunch out of the way...

Presumably you didn't sit in E1 to E3, or work for the Council, or are part of his staff or used the Airco stadium?

There's a lot of truth in what you say.

I attach very little blame to the Council. They wanted to jointly build his sports village and he turned them down because they'd keep the KC freehold. A deal similar, in theory, to the Etihad was on offer. He turned it down.

You're right about the FA Cup. I did think about not posting it but someone (not you) would have pointed out we got to the FA Cup Final and that was down to him as well.

I've heard he had an offer for Hull City for £60 million if he had the freehold. If its true he'd have sold us shortly after buying us, for a healthy profit. It is a rumour, yes, but from somebody I trust. It also explains to me why he calls the council cheats.

I agree he had no idea of how to run a football club. Adam Pearson told him what he was letting himself in for but choose to ignore him. I suspect it was the same when he and Barmby didn't spend his money on Billy Sharp to keep within the wage structure. Nobody tells him how to run his business. That is hindsight.

If he had any idea on how to cooperate with other people he'd be still hailed as a hero in Hull. He might have even got Hull Tigers through. Although he'd have worked with the Council so the push for the name change might not have been there. His attitude seems to be his way or else. As a result we will not be much better off under Allam if we get relegated then we were under Bartlett.
