Hooray! That extra £1.5m will probably allow us to keep hold of Hernandez next season. <sigh>

ps...12 dropped points from winning positions deep into the second half...

H Stoke 2 points, due to hopeless referee
H West Ham 2 points, due to defence/McGregor going to sleep
A Newcastle 2 points due to taking foot of gas...McGregor error for their first goal
A Arsenal 2 points, inability to defend until the end
A Man City 2 points, McGregor's inability to line up a wall and save a free kick..
H Sunderland 2 points...N'Doye misses open goal, then an inability to defend against the worst side in the league

    That's why we're going down...

I think this season has been a combination of factors but not making a change in goal for so long has been a massive factor for us.

I'd add Spurs at home to that. For me that was the turning point of our season - absolutely cruising in the game and a ridiculous red card cost us.

Agree but we were only beating Spurs at half-time, and as you point out the red card changed the game...

Stoke away was a turning point for me! No strikers!

I wouldn't right us off beating Spurs, they are not playing well, and we do seem to play better against the bigger teams. However even if we do, I am not so sure it will be enough on it's own to keep us up, but at least it will take it to the last game of the season.
