I paid a lot of money for a lifetime memberships of the Premier Club, which I lose if I cancel my season ticket, so if decide to stop going I will still pay for my season tickets.

From a personal perspective initially I took the view that Allam could do what he wanted with Hull City; he had made a significant investment and in my my mind that gave him the right to basically do what he wanted, even change the club name! However what I would have also expected was for him to share his potential developments for the club with all stakeholders whether they be sponsors, fans, local council etc. if something as important and fundamental as a name change was being considered, I hold the view that present a compelling and objective case and you take people along with you. Ignore and/or talk out your arse and present subjective comments and people will not only accept change, but you create a strong anti-feeling. I've always believed in treating people as I would hope they would treat me, Allam has failed miserably in this regard, as such personally i am now very much with the anti Allam brigade! He's split the clubs support straight down the middle, its obviously affecting the fans vocal support from the terraces and has come at a time when we should all be pulling in the same direction; well done Allam!!

There is nothing Allam could have said or done that would've made me accept the change. Absolutely nothing.

Incorrect. He can't do whatever he wants because the club he owns is under the jurisdiction of the FA and as such he can't just change the name on a whim due to his petty vendetta with the council. It isn't 'Allam Marine'.

If there is any silver lining from our impending relegation, it makes Allams false reasoning for the name change completely null and void. I await his next move with interest.

He could never have presented a compelling and objective case for the name change becuase there isn't one. He knows nothing about football but is egotistical enough to believe his flawed vision of marketing the game will be gratefully welcomed by an industry which, he feels, lacks his subime insight. Whom fortune wishes to destroy, she first makes mad but he'll carry on doing harm until we finally get shot of him.

I am a little surprised that you could believe anyone with a bit of cash is perfectly entitled to do what they want with a long established Football Club as long as the plans are communicated nicely. If he wanted to create, from scratch, a vaguely regional football franchise on the Juventus model, good luck to him but to steal the history, status and fan base of an exsisting club simply to short cut the realising of his awful vision is just plain wrong (however it's communicated). It's like buying a listed Edwardian mansion and converting it to a mediterranean villa.

The sooner he ****s off, the better.

    Pure and simple.

If we have a new owner next season, I might even get my season ticket again.
