    15. Leicester - 37pts (-13)
    Sunderland (a) and QPR (h)

    16. Sunderland - 36pts (-20)
Leicester (h), Arsenal and Chelsea (a)

    17. Newcastle - 36pts (-24)
QPR (a) and West Ham (h)

    18. Hull City - 34pts (-16)
Spurs (a) and Man Utd (h)

    19. Burnley - 29pts (-26) RELEGATED
Stoke (h) And Aston Villa (a)

    20. QPR - 27pts (-28) RELEGATED
    Newcastle (h) and Leicester (a).

One win for anybody from 18th-16th will secure safety at this stage because it's doubtful all three will win all remaining games - psychologically a win will be huge for any of those teams.

We could be effectively relegated next weekend, likewise we could move up two places.

That's not right. If we beat Leicester and get a draw against Arsenal or Chelsea(that's 4 points and a big ask) you could still finish above us with two wins on goal difference. Technically we could need five points for safety depending on Hull, you need to win at least one to give yourselves a chance.

No because that would mean Leicester would be on 37 and us on 34 (minimum) with 1 game left.

Am I missing something? If you lose to spurs you remain on 34 points and a win for the Mags and Sunderland would see them with 39 points, that would leave you 5 behind with 3 to play for.

The fat lady is mearly clearing her throat.

Big win for United just now, which could be good for us.

Both spurs and United on the beach and in shaky form. If the lads are up for it, we can do it.

The straws are there to be clutched at.

He means you winning means Leicester lost and they're on 37 going into the last weekend - still catchable but better goal difference for the foxes.

Basically of all of the teams down there Hull are the only one who MUST win a game to stay up, two draws and you are down if any body else gets a draw.

Aye... Back when it was the three of us battling, we grabbed a point at Bolton but that put us back ahead of Newcastle - this time we need to win at either Spurs or at home to Man Utd (a Chelsea win tomorrow will help Utd take 4th).

I think what FD means is that when Leicester beat Sunderland, you could still finish a point above Sunderland, even if you lose to Spurs <ok>

Why the laugh you are two points behind if Newcastle or Sunderland get a point you MUST win a game two draws and you are down.
