What a pathetic first half. We set up to play against a Stoke side that no longer exists. Need to make changes at half-time. Paulinho and Rose for Mason and Chiriches. Could be anyone going off, really. Rubbish stuff all round. We've got no pace and the three behind Kane have no balance. Who's supposed to be providing the width today? Very poor team selection and tactics.
It was 40 minutes gone before we realised we were playing a match. Spurs have only looked interested in the last 5 minutes.
Called it, back 4's a mess. Really sloppy stuff in general but that back 4's totally stupid. Chiriches and Fazio in the middle, what the Hell were we thinking. Dier's lack of experience at right back is making it so easy for Arnautovic too. Don't know whether Rose wasn't fit to start or what's happening there but get either him or Yedlin on and get Townsend on for some pace going forward too. Pochettino has to make 2 changes at half time, this is all his fault and the situation isn't going to fix itself.
Chiriches off. Utterly predictable. Game over. That's awful by Pochettino. How did he not see that coming, when everyone else did?
Can't defend Pochettino, absolutely ridiculous decisions from the start to keeping Chiriches on. No one else to blame.
Chiriches.. what is he even doing anywhere near the squad... Time nd again he has shown himself to be really poor. Appalling coaching by Poch who I am beginning to wonder if he is actually up for the job. Seemingly yet another average appointment by Levy who at this point doesnt seem to have any interest in creating a successful squad. Wait for the off season when Lloris goes and we dick around and sign a bunch of really awful players....
Chiriches is always terrifying. His least terrifying position is RB and he's actually okay there but for me Dier is ahead of him at both CB and RB. So he's an obvious sell this summer. Today I would have felt much more comfortable with Dier CB and Chiriches RB. Mind you he'd have been slaughtered there too.
