OK, I didn't know his son, I used to play against Hall Road in my younger days, so knew the old man to say hello too.

Assuming they go into Div 1, it's the likes of Winterton Rangers and Selby Town... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014–15_Northern_Counties_East_Football_League
This is a Hull City forum. A Hull United forum should be set up for those few who are interested in following them.
Our greatest ever captain got his team promoted in his first management job, I think that warrants a thread on a Hull City forum.
Among others that OLM mentioned, they'll be playing Hall Road Rangers. That's gotta count as the closest derby for a long time hasn't it? Also, they'll be playing Penistone Church. I hear they have very skilled ball boys...
It's level 10, so 5 below the Conference. Apparently Ashbee is now going to be Chairman as well as Assistant Manager.
I see Curtis is working to promote professional boxing in the region too. Fair play to them for putting something back into local sport. It does them credit. They have big personalities, so hopefully it will help raise the profile of sport at that level. It's also good for this region that Ian Ashbee is one of a number of people that come to live around here, and then end up calling it home.
A good idea to 'steal' disillusioned City fans would be a black and amber kit. They could go hoops a la that short period that we did, people do argue it's more tigerlike.
Hull United and Westella promoted Hull United and Westella & Willerby are set to take their places in the Toolstation NCEL Division One next season. Both clubs have confirmed that the FA have sent email confirmation of their promotion from the Humber Premier League and Central Midlands League. The FA have yet to publish the full line-ups for the Premier Division and Division One so perennial crisis club Lincoln Moorlands Railway’s fate remains unconfirmed. Curtis Woodhouse, manager of ambitious Hull, told his club’s official website: “Myself and Ian Ashbee have watched a few matches at this level so we aren’t going into it blind and we have a good friend who works at this level. “We will go into it with the mantra we have had all year, we respect everybody but fear nobody. “We’ll be in there to try and win it. I don’t set up for anything with the mentality of settling for anything less.” http://www.nonleagueyorkshire.com/2015/05/21/hull-united-and-westella-promoted/
