Talk about Bayern Munich getting their lunch eaten in the last 17 mins of play, losing 3-0 to Barcelona. Should be enough for game, set & match without the 2nd leg in Germany. Perhaps Real Madrid losing 2-1 away to Juventus yesterday will get back into it in the home leg to set up an all Spanish final? "Cometh the hour, cometh the man: Lionel Messi had nine touches in the last 15 minutes of play, including two goals and an assist. Deadly." please log in to view this image Lionel Messi scored twice as Barcelona struck three times in the final 13 minutes of the first leg to whisk their Champions League semi-final tie away from a stubborn Bayern Munich side. The hosts seemed set for a frustrating night before Messi fired a low shot home from the edge of the area. Three minutes later he raced past Jerome Boateng and dinked home coolly. Bayern Munich pushed for an away goal and were punished as Neymar scampered clear to slot home in injury-time.
It has not happen very often but i think that the germans were tired after 65-70 minutes. When you play as tired you make mistakes and the worst possible player you can think of to make mistake against as a tired is Leo Messi. The rest is history. Nice try bayern but it is auf wiederschen now.....
Come on Barca. What a player Messi is. I saw him score 5 goals live against Bayer Leverkusen a few years back.
