He thought evicting children from the Airco Arena benefited the club. If he gets the council to back down and half a million from the Premier League it will. You may think that is acceptable but I don't. For me its no longer just about the name change its about the type of owner we have.

If the name changes there will be no Hull City and therefore no club to support. From the ashes we may see the rise of AFC Hull City and then I'll have a club to support.

I don't think you should ban him.

Just put all his posts into a single thread and keep them segregated from everything else.

A bit like Borat's brother Bilo in his cage.

People need to stop talking about protesting and supporting the team as if they are mutually exclusive

Don't agree with your view on the airco arena. 'Evicting children'??? Why haven't we got a local community/council who WANT to help the club achieve Category 2 status? Can anyone argue that having this facility in Hull will be bad for the area? Also if you are accusing City of evicting children what about the counter argument that by preventing this facility ( and investment) going ahead you are indeed preventing 'children' ( talented young football players) from having such a facility?? I would say the whole sorry episode could have been better handled. Instead of the violins playing because some groups have been given a months notice we could have the trumpets welcoming a sound investment in the future of football in this city on a scale never seen before. The last regime could and should have set the ball rolling on the Academy but did nothing, previous owners did little more.

He could have put a bubble pitch on County Road North but didn't. He could have built the Academy at Melton but didn't. The Council offered him land for the full Academy but didn't take it up because he's not talking to them. After the council threatened him with legal action we're likely to end up with a bubble pitch behind the Airco Arena. Any of that could have been achieved without evicting people from the Airco Arena.

Last year he took £8 million out of Hull City in interest and loan repayments, more than enough to have paid for a bubble pitch and Academy 2 status.

He choose to issue the eviction notices because it was the cheapest option to give him half a million quid from the Premier League. You might find that acceptable, I don't.

Ffs come on man. Be a little more objective. You all would like more city supporters to join your cause right? You're all frustrated that some may not see things the way you do right? you are disgusted that your fellow supporters boo you right?
How is this kind of attitude of "you're a ****ing idiot who loves the Premier League, isn't a real fan, never goes to games and has no guts or morals" going to get people on your side? Whether you like it or not CTWD folk are playing their part in alienating the other supporters.

That's your prerogative of course, you do what the **** you want but don't be surprised by the lack of affection from other fans. Anyone trying to make out that they're a better supporter for x reason will only reinforce the fight in others.

You have your views on how to go about the Name change issue and you have every right to feel let down by other supporters but don't expect them to join your side after giving them **** for not having the same view as you.

There are a few on here who do things properly, like Obadiah for example, who are far more likely to persuade someone who might be on the fence...
then you get ****s like SuitedandBooted who put you off the whole idea. The guy could be protesting for world peace I wouldn't want to be seen next to him.

Anyone who boos those that are protesting are weak backed hypocritical ****.

You're just weak. You purport to be against the name change yet are not willing to do anything about. Weak in will, weak in thought, weak in action.

You support, the Premier League, The Allams & the club last. Weak, very weak..

Shame you can't read though. You can't control anyones views, you merely stop anyone from taking yours seriously.

and that's supposed to get me on board? lmao.

Weak would be following a conviction in a manner you don't approve of. The fact that I'm making very valid points every now and then and grinding your gears makes me the complete opposite of weak.

You've made no valid points whatsoever.

You don't want the name to change yet you also don't want to take any action, no matter how small, in order to keep the name of the club.

You believe CTWD are still active, you think when they were active they were infiltrated by a powerful anti-Allam group who set about changing the aim of the group. This makes you ill informed at best, more likely just stupid.

You're not prepared to put in even the meekest of efforts to fight against something you don't want, that makes you weak, very weak as well as stupid.

It seems to me Ben that all the pro Allam brigade never have a valid point to their argument, or can back it up with any tangible facts.
