We don’t know how bad it is. Apart from that everybody should be available [for the Hull game]. on Debuchy… Monday could be too early for him. He got the injury in training. on the rest of the squad being fit… We are at a period of the season where it’s going to be important to have everybody on board and to see everyone fit makes us stronger. We are on a good run, we want to keep it going and the fact that we have plenty of [selection] opportunities is very interesting for me. Very worrying that Debuchy has a slight hamstring injury - that usually means 2 months out in Arsenal speak! Still everyone else seems to be firing - and hopefully this will be a good game for Sanchez to put his stamp on the game. Though on the other hand this could be the game that the majestic form of Diaby sweeps all before him and underline's his status as a god of football... I think the team picks itself - though personally I think Ramsey is cutting in from the right too much and reducing our threat both on that flank and congesting the centre. I'd like Walcott to be giving a shot at starting...
I'd prefer Welbeck to Ramsey on the wing, Ramsey is not a winger, and never will be. He wasn't good against Chelsea in that spot.
A point or better will see us celebrate yet another St Totteringham's day and we'll almost be there in terms of automatic CL qualification
Maybe we should all invite a local spud round for tea so they can celebrate something this season as well...
Given the fact that we have had extra time to rest and they had a energy sapping performance against Liverpool, I'd expect us to win this. Will be a tight game, though. They're fighting for their Premiership status. Reckon we'll win this 2-1.
Weird? Anyway, I'm hoping it's a good game and we win. We won't win of course, but **** happens. While I'm here, I'd just like to thank Kieran Gibbs for standing on the goal line, where he was supposed to be and clearing Alex Bruce's looping header that would have made it three nil at last seasons cup final. The twat.
First XI unchanged for this game: Ospina, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Ramsey, Ozil, Alexis, Giroud. Subs: Szczesny, Gibbs, Gabriel, Flamini, Wilshre Rosicky, Walcott. Wonder if Welbeck has an injury or something ruling him out of this.
Only attacking option on the bench is Theo, would still like to a see a recognised striker to warm the bench if and when required.
Gonna be a tough night. Hull are really up for it at the moment. I think we will prevail but it will be very close.
These lot didn't let us beat them at The Emirates earlier in the season. That is unacceptable. We must punish them for that crime.
