"Rodgers out, Rafa in", read the message in a stunt organised by a campaign group called RodgersOutClub. Rodgers, appointed in May 2012, is the first Liverpool manager in more than half a century not to win a trophy in his first three seasons at the club. Many fans and former players including Jamie Carragher condemned the banner. Earlier on Saturday, Carragher tweeted: "About to leave for Anfield. Hope this Rodgers banner supposedly flying over the ground is called off as it's embarrassing to club and fans." Rodgers, 42, who took the Reds to the brink of the Premier League title last season only to lose out to Manchester City, believes he is still the right man to take the club forward. He said: "I thought it was Rafa's agent. "Football has short memories. We sat here last year and nearly won the league." He also insists the club's American owners, Fenway Sports Group, will support him with marquee signings this summer. Former Reds manager Rafa Benitez, who led the club to Champions League success in 2005, is expected to leave Serie A side Napoli at the end of the season. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32564389
Please God No!!!! Im no fan of Rodgers but even less a fan of Rafa. His man management skills are worse than Rodgers and lets not forget the way he tinkered with the team.
I agree that rafa's time is past for us I find the whole thing ridiculous, cheesy and low rent And most of all.....airplanes should not be so easy fly over any stadiums cos frankly it'd not take much for someone with an agenda to fly one into a stadium and kill people Small shirty aircraft shouldn't be flown over built up areas
By having a flight plan ensures you can reach a non-residential area in the even of the engine failing i.e. not intentionally circling directly above 60,000 people Banner planes with single engines crash all the time
I will predict that terrorists looking will eventually think great plan and plough a cessna into a crowd somewhere
Radar can If for example I happen to know two lads who hopped a lift in a cessna once and jumped half way as a wheeze and the pilot got in terrible **** for the two unidentified objects in radar (parachutes) then I think you'd be surprised
Whole stunt seemed rather tacky. Something that you expect from United, not Liverpool. My opinion on whether Rodgers should stay after end of the season would depend on one thing: How much of a day has he had regarding transfers? If he has had all or almost all the power... He should go. If our awful transfers have been comittee controlled. You can't really blame him. Brendan does seem astute enough to realise when tactics arnt working to change them. I think he does well considering his squad. We would probably have done better if BR played Gerrard a lot less the last few years... But that aside... Our main weakness during Rodgers tenure is that we are crap in the transfer market.
After all the **** we took last year because of the actions of a few knobheads, that was pure poetry to me
