Definitely not betting on the flat......but just noticed that ol boy Borderlescott is lining up in the next at Goodwood. Got to throw a few quid ew at 14s.
hmmm -i backed second step , mainly because i beleive the better jockey was aboard, allied to the form of cumani and the converse of stoute...
Intilaaq 12/1 will do me in the Guineas. The visual impression he created last time out when winning a good maiden in a good time was enough for connections to supplement him and he'll do for me as well. With the rain coming, 4.25 Punchestown Fiscal Focus 7/1 has a great chance in my opinion. He threw up a huge shock when beating a good field at Leopardstown's Christmas Festival on his hurdling debut in a Grade 2 and I thought he ran well for a long way in the Irish Champion Hurdle when he pulled too hard taking on his elders in Hurricane Fly & Jezki. Trainer Dessie McDonogh thinks the world of this horse and you've got to respect that opinion given he trained dual Champion Hurdle winner Monksfield way back when. In the 7.15 Doncaster I think Rex Imperator 3/1 will take a lot of beating but he's quite short in a big field.
Well done on the Martin beast lads Done a straight forecast in the mares race - Annie Power to beat Katie T
I know what you mean. If we'd have seen Gleaneagles & Ol Man win a trial before this I think they'd be red hot favs so one of them might well hose up but I think it's just the leap of faith on AOB form and their reappearances after absence that has prevented the big gamble.
I've done an e/w saver on Ol Man River - can't ignore that breeding, although drawn 2 could be a challenge
Wow, that was some impressive. Couldn't have won any easier really. Went off a smashing price. Hope my pick Ol Man River is ok after pulling up too.
