Aye I hate these tin pot clubs whose fans are always on the bosses back, they go from hero to zero in a season and then the club constantly have to change their manager...

Sickening. Aside from ourselves there is one PL club who have had something like 13 managers in the last 13 years. Fairweather fans, what can you do.

To be fair he could probably manage Real Madrid or Barcelona to success.

 

He sounds as deluded as Sam ****ing Allardyce. I love it when people say "you should have stuck with Allardyce" - they immediately become ******ed in my eyes. The man was taking us down and was turning more fans off football than any other manager in the last 20 years.

 

So no-one could do better under these circumstances? He must have a short memory because I remember a certain Alan Pardew coping better than him!

No denying Carver is an idiot but Blind Corner may have a point. You either all or nothing with a manager. If their face fits you're 100% behind them, If not you rebel with an unreal sense of entitlement. Try supporting a team who's only been half decent for about five seasons in my entire life. You're getting through more bed sheets than the poor Indonesian kids can possibly sew.

No, I've demonstrated you lot do(5 examples of managers you've dusted the old sheets off for). There wasn't a Sunderland picture in my posts was there now Albert? It's you who demonstrated we called for poyets head and nobody else. We did it with Paolo. Though I must stress I wasn't part of it. I was willing to give MoN more time as were many though I hindsight I think we would have been wrong to keep him on any longer. Bruce had to go. Nobody turned on Keane, McCarthy or Reid, not to the point of bedsheets and Netto cardboard anyway. So Poyet, PDC and Bruce, so three out of the last ten have been met with fierce unanimous calls for sacking. But more to my point, only one message scrolled on cardboard in protest. I wasn't on about how many managers you've been through and neither was Blind Corner, it's the fans behavior towards them.

It's really tough to tell with a squad like ours. I like that he's recognised the team's capabilities and gone back to basics while keeping us hard to beat(but when we get beat we really get beat) But that tells me nothing about how he would like us to play long term. So I don't know if I want him to stay. Depends on what league we're in. Hardly worth pondering who I'd want until our status is confirmed, which ever outcome it may be.
