he said there would be no new signings soon as we cant afford wages or transfer fees, he hopes to have a couple in before we play Bolton
Interview with Sir Neil. Something and nothing really. Something in that he's still with us giving it his usual optimistic outlook. Nothing in that there's no news today. I'll have a look back through the interview and come back with any salient points perhaps.
He says that he is hopefull of 5-6 new signings and has spoken to a few players so far. It must be down to the board that he has not been allowed to sign anyone yet
As hard as he tried to be positive i felt Neil was struggling to avoid letting rip at our so called owners,i feel he's waiting for a pay off the boats sinking and he's bailing out with a bucket with a hole in it
Anyone else still grasping at straws of positivity now? We've now had it from the horses mouth NO NEW SIGNINGS. We're Doomed, DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!!
To me he seemed a little bit hesitant he couldn't say what he really wanted to say but that just probably me.
I tried to watch it objectively. He was still pretty positive but there was no hiding the disappointment that he has not signed / been allowed to sign new players yet. He did seem pretty confident about the 'five or six' new players before the Bolton game. He spoke well about 'Flavio and Bernie' but did comment that Swansea and Norwich had already signed players and spent millions. He still took the line that if we started with the same first team as last year we would be a reasonable force but then Adel was not even at training so we won't have the same first team as last year! On that point, he said as far as he was concerned Adel was still a QPR player until a club came with an offer that the board (NB 'the board') would consider. Overall feeing of him remaining positive but with an under current of uncertainty. I don't think we are totally stuffed yet but if come the Bolton game, Adel is gone and no new players then Championship, here we come. Sad old days.
Not doomed - just got 1 year in the Premier League & then back down to the Championship to look forward to. Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!
And if we drop back to the championship with the goons in charge I could see the season ticket prices remaining at the same price for next season
have faith lads & give it time, ok i'm like you disgruntled but given up worrying day after day, wait & hope.
