After wins against Crystal Palace and Liverpool in the last seven days, the sight of Nikica Jelavic taking part in full training has rounded off an excellent week for manager Steve Bruce. If Aluko keeps up this form it will be interesting to see if/how Bruce will fit Jela, N'Doye and Sone in the same team. Maybe a 442 with Aluko RM. Might be a bit too attacking for Bruce though, especially if you play Diame as one of the middle two.
I'd leave Jelavic out completely for the Arsenal game and possibly bring him in for Burnley but only if needed. It would be nice if we didn't need to play him again this season and give him a maximum time for recovery. Plus I want to see Aluko twisting and turning against Mertesacker. It might be quite funny.
The temptation for SB might be to stick him on the bench in case we need a goal in the last 10 mins.....
