I go with a group of about a dozen long-term fans. 2 have already not renewed, but as far as I know, all the others will be renewing. Almost all are against the idea of the name change (1 thinks it might pay off, but would like evidence), but will continue to support their team no matter what happens. Personally, I'll renew, support Hull City, and never buy anything with Hull Tigers on it, or join any chant involving that name (not that I've heard any from the silent majority of Allam supporters). Good job I've got a number of Hull City shirts from previous seasons. With care they'll see me into the dementia ward, and be handed on to my heirs.
I'm renewing. Despite all the unrest at the club, why should it stop me from doing something I've enjoyed for years?
I'm changing my mind on an almost daily basis at the moment, last Friday I wasn't renewing because of everything that was going on with Ferriby etc then these two last results with the passion the players showed made me realise how much I would miss it and I was thinking why should Allam ruin my enjoyment of City. Now with the ASI I think I shouldn't renew because then he wins by treating us like **** knowing people will stay whatever he does. There are two situations that would make my mind up one is if the name change went through I definitely wouldn't renew and the other is if we were relegated, not because we aren't premier league anymore but because I don't think Allam deserves any support when he will need the supporters most. Someone would just take my place if we are still premier league.
I really don't think they will. We don't exactly have people queueing up for passes, and it'll be a lot less next season even if we stay up. The PL novelty wears off quickly for the plastics.
