    After it was reported that newcastles bid for erdinc had been rebuffed the chronicle and Journo stated that we would be turning our attention towards another as of yet unamed continental based striker.

    you know its not moussa sow as its been said that we're not looking at him anymore, gamiero and gervinho have fallen through our fingers too.

    so who else does that leave which would fit into our transfer policy, price and age wise?

    What about Ricky van Wolfswinkel? We were after him last summer and his name is awesome. We were also linked with Yannick Djalo last season, not sure what happened to either of them though.
