Wow, some of those questions are dumb asf. "Foreign clubs value fan input and opinion more highly:" "How would you like your club to be owned?" the answer choices don't match the question v well. "Ticket prices are ludicrous" smh
Just finished up the survey. For future reference, you want to be careful when asking such leading questions and there are definitely some questions that would provide a more obvious set of quantifiable data if you offered options. For example, "How often do you attend a professional football match in a season?" could be better phrased as: "On average, how many league games would you attend in a full season? 0-5 .. 6-10 .. 11-15 .. etc." As the question is phrased currently, you could have responses such as "Fairly often" which is not quantifiable. Good luck with the report anyway DTLW.
Blimey! Thank you to all of the people who've answered the questions. Now here's the slippery part... I've actually missed nearly all of the group meetings for this project because I've been travelling to report on a game, so had to give my input over the phone and have it passed off by the course leader. I'm not entirely happy with all of the questions myself, and believe it could've been better. Perils of a group task, I suppose. Nevertheless, thanks for answering - although Fran may be right and I may need to get some Blackpool and Newcastle types to answer!
DTLW, it occurs to me that if a kindhearted mod were to post a thread on the Mod's board with the link to the survey and a few words of explanation, you might get at least a few of the other board mod's to take it back to their own people, and thereby increase the bandwidth of your findings, without you having the hassle of visiting each board in turn yourself. If you would like me to do this let me know the form of words you would like, and I'll copy and paste it into a thread.
That'd be great. I guess something mirroring the original post would be pretty useful? I can't really think of much else to say. Thanks Chilco.
