Do Arsenal have a psychological block in pressure games?

That's not very nice, as penance you have to post on the Spurs board only for the day.

I'd get banned if I had to post on the Spurs board for a day.

But would you? Only one way to find out. If you get banned by 10am I'll only post on the Man Utd board for the day.

Arsenal looked dreadful against a dodgy-looking United. In the end, the draw was probably the fairest result, as neither side looked capable of winning the game.

It's no coincidence that Wenger always goes on about "mental strength". He knows full well his team has none.

Wenger doesn't coach his players well enough about how to play when the opposition have the ball. When Arsenal play the better teams, he often gets caught out tactically. How many times did SAF set Utd up to play so that he allowed Arsenal loads of possession on the edge of Utd's penalty area, but had players who could then catch them out on the counterattack when they were closed down and gave the ball away? It became embarrassingly predictable.

Himself, as Arsenal have been mentally weak for a decade, starting with Arsene

  16. Looking at it from an outsider's objective standpoint, I do think that there has been a weak mentality at Arsenal, certainly since Tony Adams left. Mind you, the pressure got to him and he found himself banged up for his drinking. Wiltshire, too, turned to booze and ***s to get him through the pressure.

Don't forget Gallas mate, having that public mental breakdown on the pitch in front of 30000 fans. Tears that day from a proper fruitcake.

  18. Indeed, Treble; I had quite forgotten about that.

It was pitifully shameful to see a man break down like that. No one likes to see that, any more than one likes to see a grown man dressed up like a king-sized duvet kicking the **** out of an innocent water-bottle.

    Utterly shameful behaviour!

Did something similar happen to Eboue, I honestly cant remember if he subbed himself or just turned to jelly after being subbed on?

I can easily see the likes of Bellerin or Monreal doing the same tbf.

  20. One has to wonder if there is a "yellow" streak running through the entire squad, Treble. I was going to mention the "spine" of the team, but I think we all know I'd be taking the piss if I suggested that Arsenal actually had any spine.

One does have to wonder if Wenger, himself, hasn't shed the odd tear during his half-time team-talks, especially with the way that Arsenal have been playing, recently.

Girls' blouses, all of them, if you ask me!
