I go along with most of this. CR is a proven qualified coach and comes across as a decent sort of bloke; does that make him a good manager? No it does not. A coach and a manager are two different jobs. A coach develops players and works on set plays, defending, attacking etc on the training pitch. The Manager picks the team and is there to strategise throughout the 90 minutes. His job is to win football matches end of.

Everyone is being kind to CR at the moment and rightly so. If we are in the Championship next season and lost half of our first dozen matches the crowd would soon turn on him.

Actually what Sooperhoop posted about Warburton could be a runner with Ramsey as his No 2.....
