I've tried to help you out a bit by explaining why people have reacted, but much as you wilfully ignored the fact that your opinion was addressed and countered on page 2, you're wilfully ignoring the rest of that post, bar one sentence. So you haven't actually answered the question, but maybe sort of. It sounds like you are saying that you have a negative opinion on the Southampton manager then - am I right? Can we ask why that is?

Sorry Laura, that doesn't answer my question, that just explains why you don't believe Koeman's statement. Before this thread, you have only ever posted negatively about him and I am asking why? You know that is what I am asking. Why won't you just give a straight answer Laura? Please Laura, for the sake of the people who have posted similar to me about this point, answer the question: Why do you have a negative opinion about Koeman?

she said he "promised" Champions League. He didn't, as pointed out by DTLW, but she ignored that. When asked the question, he said "why not?" I just want her to answer my question, then we can move on.
I can't help you don't like my answer. Post 12 is my answer on topic that was posted on the thread. Champions league definitely he mentioned at some point in early days. If I'm wrong about that then fair enough You'd actually think way you lot are going on I hold power to fire the guy any minute.

I feel it's more you can't handle an opinion that is not licking your manager. Do I like the guy as a person no. Do I think he has done well for saints football club then yes. Do I hope he continues to yes as much as you and few others seem to think there is no agenda I don't want to see saints being relegated cause he's a one season wonder. Can I give an opinion that I stated why I did yes I can. It's not trolling it's having an opinion that I said was not just aimed at koeman. I'll help out by answering the question myself so you have some pointers. I'm here because I am a fan of Southampton Football Club, and this is a forum for supporters of Southampton Football Club, and I greatly enjoy engaging in critical discussion about the team with other like-minded fans who share my passion. I also like to hear news from those fans closer to the club than me, and occasionally we also discuss points outside of the club that we all love. I have no problem at all with people like PompeyLapras, who are not fans of the club, posting here (though actually he seldom posts about SFC themselves, he's more often found in the off-topic thread, because he's not a fan of SFC) because he is capable and keen to engage in sensible discussion. What I don't understand is why somebody who is openly not a fan of the club, would bother posting here, particularly when they only post what come across as bitter snipes at the team, and are unwilling to engage in sensible, constructive discussions. That to me sounds like a spectacularly sad state of affairs, and a rather hopeless waste of everybody's time. But yes, that's just my opinion. So please, do tell me, why are you here? What are you getting out of it?
I've said my bit Laura. You still won't tell us why you don't like him as a person, but we all know why. No, it's not trolling to have an opinion, but it is trolling in my view when it is always negative about the same person on a board of a team that you don't even support. This was one thread and you must remember that just because you stated your opinion on the topic of this thread, that when it follows the same theme as the posts you make on other threads, then you should expect people to notice this and respond to it. Despite you suggesting otherwise, there are some bright people that post here and it is clear that you only post on the two topics we have continued to mention; this makes it you who is the catalyst every time in the way the threads turn. If you won't accept that, then go and read all the other threads and see how lots of people post differing opinions and how they can be discussed in an intelligent way. You may even decide to join in them, if you really have a genuine interest in Saints (that would be odd though as you are not a fan), though I noted that since several people questioned why you don't do that you made a short token comment on a non Koeman/Boruc thread. Imagine you are in a pub with a large group of friends with a common interest and each time you are in there, the same person wonders over only when you discuss a certain topic and each time they do that, they say something negative. Would you sit there and thank them for their valid opinion? I doubt it. That's how it comes across. Anyone doing that is either on a wind up, or should at least expect some defensive reaction from that group; that's what you are getting here. If I was the only one telling you this, then I think it would be something in my imagination, but I am not. We had a West Ham fan, Trixter, who just used to just post to wind people up; at times you are more antagonizing than him.
