Maybe, but I think it'll be to Whelan himself. I'll check that out with the inlaws.

Ha, after all the hype the final day of the Championship is going to be a bit of a damp squib.

Good for Rotherham, and they have been better than Wigan and Millwall, so they deserve it.

Reading have had an awful season too really. Cup Semi-Final, but dreadful league form. 7 points out of their last 13 games.

I know Nigel didn't have things going brilliantly, but Steve Clarke hasn't worked any magic.

I was surprised that Nigel couldn't work his magic at Reading...obviously a decent club having just dropped from the EPL. I thought they would still have a team suited to the Championship and some nice money. Or was something going on that I missed as #onlysaintsmatter

Although, if you look at the fixtures, I'd say there's a good chance not much will change. Brentford & Wolves are at home to the two relegated teams while Derby have the dreadful Reading. As you are come Saturday when you take goal diff into the situation, I'd suggest.
Still, its been another cracking campaign down there!

Fascinating article in the Times the other day about Bournemouth. It describes how they put a huge montage of Bournemouth's history as a football club in the canteen which contributed to the players feeling part of the club and seeing their place in its future.

The article discussed the idea of the pronoun test, based on studies in organisations in America. It concluded that if you can get players talking about the club as 'we' and 'us' you can basically achieve miracles. The alternative is, 'they' and 'them' where players pretty much see themselves as mercenaries, even if they say good things about the club. Success can still be achieved but it will cost more!

This definitely sounds familiar, with the Southampton Way etc. It was the main reason that I was so upset about our mass exodus last summer. However, we still do seem to be generating the 'we' pronoun so miracles obviously await!

Brilliant goal from Ritchie. Bournemouth winning the league as it stands. 2-0 now.
