Looks as though we are set to land prolific goalscorer and Dover;s FA Cup hero Adam Birchall for a fee believed to be arround the £60,000 mark. Dover had turned down a bid from the Pikeys (Gillingham FC) on Friday.

So what do we know about Adam Birchall?

    - Started his career at Arsenal, though never made an appearance in the first team

    - Has spent time at Football League clubs Wycombe and Barnet

    - 5th January 2005 he scored a 90th equaliser against Swindon for Barnet

    - He is 26

    - He is a small striker at 5'7

    - His goalscoring record for Dover currently stands at 64 goals in 74 appearances

So what's everyones thoughts on Adam Birchall and would it be a good signing if the deal is completed?

Sounds like sour grapes to me lad,

Don't take it out on us just because you paid well over the odds for Kedwell

And it's a bit early to start making predictions about the up and coming season, but don't worry I'm sure you'll avoid relegation, just :)
