    Could easily have picked Huddlestone, Brady, Harper, Elmo or others, too! But Aluko deserves pride of place at the top - a superb performance.

    Virtually impossible to chose just 3, but....
    1 - Harper, made some great saves, sweeping up was spot on and distribution impecable
    2 - Aluko, messi blacked up for us tonight
    3 - Elmo, great delivery and super defensive play all night, that lad knows how to win a header

    Any one of the other lads could easily have been in there, man for man, ****ing ace

    special mention to Balotelli who has to be the least effective player to have played at the KC this year

    Great team performance again.


    Could be perm any 3 of 11 but I'm going:

    Aluko - not his biggest fan but he was excellent in creating and holding the ball up and linking play etc.

    Harper - we just look less panicy with him there. And he made saves!

    Dawson - More for the goal than anything else but the man is immense. It matters because it matters. OK?

    That was the Aluko we loved, who was the best player in the Championship. Incredibly good feet and skills. We made an extremely expensive Liverpool team look bang average (apart from Coutinho who was class).

    Aluko....incredible game...showed great technical ability and vision. his best game in the black and amber
    Dawson....massive defensive performance again...great goal (not offside!) and inspirational captain.
    Brady....brilliant two way performance

    Honorable mention to all the players but especially Elmo (Mr.Consistent) and Harps (second shutout...well done old man).

    Thankyou Miserable Mario for showing once again how useless you are!!

    Aluko - the kid was wonderful to watch tonight, what skills and held it up, is he finally showing his colours in the PL
    Chester - timing of tackles impeccable
    Brady - got to grips with Ibe and looks to be developing into a really useful player

    Aluko looked good but how many chances did he create? How many shots did he have? How many times did he actually get past a man? Granted he nearly got away a few times but the best he actually achieved was winning free kicks. He's definitely getting better and got his confidence back but he needs to achieve something as an attacker.
