just had a massive bonfire in my small back garden, what a buzz! That's the only part of gardening I really enjoy.
What did you burn? I have 5 conifers that I took down tucked up against the fence on the floor and various other bushes/trees that I chopped and pruned. I am thinking of hiring an industrial chipper, as I think the neighbours wouldn't be best pleased if I went with the raging fire option.
Loads of cardboard and old wooden furniture. Neighbours don't like raging fires you're right, that's why I always have mine when everyone else is at work. Last year I set fire to the neighbours holly bush (some of you may remember the anecdote?) so I learnt from my mistake and kept it smaller.
great goal... The guy's blind! http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...r-scores-wonder-goal-for-france-10209667.html
https://uk.lifestyle.yahoo.com/dad-gets-massive-tattoo-of-baby-on-his-face-081635800.html definition of stupid....man has massive tattoo of his baby on his face. Teenagers will love to see pictures of themselves on their Dad's face....hardly embarrassing at all. What will he do if he has several kids?
My reason was to optimize the solar rays onto my patio and garden ... the bonus being that the neighbor is delighted as it has opened up the view of the countryside behind us Lived here three years and they never mentioned that view being blocked.
Bridge (the card game, not the player) is seeking in the courts to be recognised as a sport. They say they are not seeking funding from Sport England (but I bet they will if they win) and I have heard before that they want bridge to be an Olympic sport. I feel that for any game to be a sport there has to be some element of physical activity and fitness...which is why archery is a sport and not darts. Having said that, darts is more of a sport than a card game....at least it is a test of eye/hand coordination.
His son looks like a cabbage patch kid. I bet he's a hit at job interviews now, so he'll probably have plenty of time to spend with his son.
True, but I am an amiable neighbor (remember the story of the attempted break in next door last year?) and we do bins and watch things when holidays come. They only had to ask. They are a lovely retired couple and the only downside of the trees being chopped is that I can now see into their back garden and look at it with an air of shame and jealousy ... it is stunning and they spend hours working on it.
if any of my neighbours want my tress cut down, they can come round with saws and be my guest I don't care about my garden, as long as it's pleasant enough for the kids to play in.
Just wanted to ask if you had any recommendations for Beijing/Shanghai. Every city has at least one non-guidebook spot that is great. Or any places that loads of people go that really aren't worth it? Doing 4 nights in each before getting the ferry. In particular any restaurants or street food spots, we're both big foodies (AKA: fat bastards ).
Chilcs & Rorsarch - no idea why Start the Bus haven't put it on their site, but we're absolutely still on for Fable on the 13th. Had a great rehearsal last night and you're in for a treat - plus being guinea pigs on a couple of new tracks too!
