Mentioning good deeds doesn't make his other actions any better, it's just the opposite end of the spectrum from those trying to link him to other bad deeds.

We've enough issues of our own to focus on without getting diverted.

Good to see people getting help though, no matter the other issues.

Sorry, but I've just got this image of City season ticket holders being lined up for lobotomies using the Allam sponsored 'Da Vinci' robot...frivolous I know, but that picture of Allam dressed up ready for the operating theatre is pretty disturbing.

I'm sure that this is a wonderful gift and really appreciated by staff and patients, but why does AA have to be at the surgery with HDM in attendance?

I fear that this may turn into another Allam bashing thread. I, at least, will give him credit for this.

The only reason the original post was made was to goad the Allam-bashers, so if it turns into an Allam-bashing thread, the only one to blame is knobhead Strovolos.

Why would he spend £1.6m on a robot when he could have spent it building an indoor 3G pitch so that the kids in the community can continue to use the Airco.

In a world where this man is accused of everything evil that happens in the world of football, which I appreciate is far more important than life and death, people should be made to consider the abuse they give and add into the equation what REALLY matters.

I'm sure you don't want to be diverted, I'm sure you would far rather perpetuate the hatred without having to bother with your conscience.

Many people will feel uncomfortable when they consider the abuse they give him when confronted with reality, and if they don't, they should.

Whatever his motives for the press being there fair play to AA, it's a great donation

What I took most from that report was the need to repeat over and over that the robot means less blood loss and quicker recovery time for the patient .... How stupid do they think people are to repeat it over and over

Jimmy Saville raised an estimated £40million for charity.

Before anyone even says it, I am not comparing Saville and Assem. Saville is a disgusting human being who makes Assem look like the messiah. I am making the point that people who do bad things are also capable of doing good.

Blimey, this notion that Allam is just a poor old businessman who really shouldn't be getting all of this awful abuse is just a tad wearing. Cogent arguments, respectfully put have been the hallmarks of the anti-Hull Tigers campaign (unlike Allams' inflammatory and provocative statements about any opposition to his plans). Even at Palace, when a sizeable portion of the fans were finally seen to have turned against Allam's ownership (as opposed to just his Hull Tigers plans), it was hardly Baltimore..a few banners with nothing more inflammatory than 'Allam Out' written on them, and a few chants (none of which were personally abusive that I could hear).
I presume you remember the Fish/Dolan campaign?-- now that was vicious hatred.
I would like to know what you think those who profoundly disagree with Allam's plans are allowed to do.....just stay silent or stay away I suppose?

I don't care if he only did it to get his ugly mug in the paper.

The hospital has been improved and he's out of pocket, good result all round.

All gifts have meaning for the giver & the recipient - obviously it is mediating the relationship in some way. Sometimes AA's relationship with 'Hull' seems to mirror the classic abusive relationship - narcissistic, gift giving, needy, wounding & hurtful, rage full & ultimately abusive...

'good' people can still do bad things.

J.Saville anyone? (& I am not equating AA with him btw)

It might be a starting point to stick to the facts and issues rather than compare the man to Jimmy Saville.

AA is without doubt a very generous man and he is a credit to castle hill and the queens centre at castle hill hospital..He has done many good things for charity's and the local area...I have always respected him for those things..

However The football side of things is a totally different matter . you cant link the two together as I did for sometime..

I feel sorry for AA in away because all this ill feeling is his own doing....BIG TIME.

And for what ? A stupid name change that would have brought in a feeble 1m !

As far as Hull City goes he can F off when ever he likes.

He Could have been a huge huge positive at Hull City
He was to me for along time.

    But not now.

Of course that's just my unimportant view .

Yours doesn't have to be the same..
