What eventual points tally would we be happy with? What would represent progress for us?

    My predictions

    Hull (A) - W

    Swansea City (H) - D

    Man United (A) - D

    Sunderland (H) - W

    WBA (H) - W

That's 11 points out of a possible 15, giving us an eventual total of 78. I think this will be enough to at least secure 2nd spot.

I am quietly confident going to Old Trafford as well. I hope we can finally dispense with the jinx, once and for all, particularly if Rooney is out. We can take confidence from the win earlier this season.

Swansea will be a tough game, but at home I think we will beat them.

Same with Utd. We're on a good run and I can see it lasting for the rest of the season.

15 points out of 15. That'll secure 2nd place, and I can see us achieving it

    Ideally:
    Hull (A): Win
    Swansea City (H): Win
    Man United (A): Win
    Sunderland (H): Win
    WBA (H): Win
    A total of 82 Points

    Realistically:
    Hull (A): Win
    Swansea City (H): Win
    Man United (A): Draw
    Sunderland (H): Win
    WBA (H): Win
    A total of 80 Points

Both good scenarios that should secure us 2nd and set us up nicely for good momentum going in to Wembley

You will win against manures, but still drop more than 2 pts from your last 5.

I wasn't entirely right either. Goons avoiding defeat at OT itself is virtually a win.
But writing was on the wall.
History tells goons goof up all the time - when they need to step up and challenge for something more than CL spot.
